I came in here to make a far longer post, but you put it rather succinctly.

@Marvin, @The Captain, The way I see it, no one knows if you're trying to help Chris, or troll him, or let him be. All you're achieving here is a weird attempt at all three categories that isn't achieving any of them:

• You're not helping Chris, because not excising this new Idea Guy disease is actively harming him. Not to mention them getting him on weed, and introducing the possibility of him fucking up that court eval.

I was not convinced until very recently that there was a new Idea Guy.

I was saying as much in my recent posts. The writings Chris puts out match his lingo and choice of interests 100%. Honestly, the only reason I flipped was because Chris used the phrase "mental gymnastics". Otherwise, it sounded just like the guy.

I don't know how much contact @The Captain has with Chris, but I get the feeling it's like how it is with classic trolls: Chris will pester you non-stop with messages, and you can generally ignore 99% of them (for weeks) until he says something that piques your interest.
