But at what point does this behavior become a diagnosable condition apart from autistic wishful thinking? A lot of us were hoping that Chris would start recovering once Null outed those behind Idea Guy, but apart from no longer being extorted, Chris appears to be getting worse and worse.
I'm not a doctor. I'm sure a doctor could diagnose him with something. Probably something relating to his depression. (I think he's been given medicine for depression in the past?)

He's getting worse because faggots keep meeting with him, giving him weed and going "lol I'm magichan, the world's going to blow up lol".

So with the recent WTFERY from Chris, I really want to ask his White Knight's some thing..

Which of you, who I will now be convinced are utter idiots, are still convincing him to not be hones with a therapist? See when people get this bad, you want them to get actual help. Not shove an egg beater up their ass whilst eating leaded paint to cause a dimensional merge.

Chris needs help pretty bad now.

OMG you really think Chris should get mental health treatment?!? Such a brave stance, that totally hasn't been mentioned a dozen times already in this very thread by literally everyone!! Chris is so lucky to have a lone, brave, totes-not-a-white-knight person like you looking out for him, saving him from the dang dirty heartless trolls.

Does he definitely not have a schizophrenia spectrum disorder, or is this being caused by weed? Weed doesn't do this to people with healthy brains and Chris isn't Tommy Chong.
I think he's just happy as a pig in shit that people are giving him lots of attention, that isn't primarily hostile, and doesn't have much investment in these delusions beyond that end.

Ultimately I don't know.

But here's what I think:

Chris is not hallucinating. He's not hearing voices or seeing things. I'm reasonably confident about that.

I don't believe he's schizophrenic either. Schizos have some pretty serious mental disturbances and simply aren't capable of distinguishing reality from fiction. I believe Chris is capable of it, he just doesn't want to.

The thing is, Chris never really saw the value in reality. He never got what the big deal was. He's always been able to say whatever the fuck he wants to, and it's rare that he hits a brick wall where he's forced to acknowledge it.

I know that's kind of vague, but here's an example: when Chris tried to do a pull up. He was so fucking cocky and then bam, he was forced to face reality. To a lesser (but only slightly) extent, finances and bills put hard limits on him that he can't dodge. He's salty that he has to pay bills, but he knows that they won't give him cheeseburgers at mcdonalds if he doesn't pay them. He knows he has to extend that concept to other things in his life.

Despite what it superficially seems like, Chris does react to stimuli and change his behavior appropriately. If Chris suffers a punishment (and he can't figure out how to dodge it) he gets really salty and pissy, but ultimately he changes his behavior.

The reason Chris is in the situation that he is now is because he hasn't suffered any consequences. He can just ramble about his imaginary world, 24/7, to anyone who'll listen, and the worst that happens is people will insult him.

Now the thing is, Chris really wants his magical world to be real. He's trying to levitate paper with his mind and stupid shit like that. He's just staring at paper, willing it to move, and if there's a little gust of wind, he gets excited because he thinks he's making progress.

Now, all of this is just how Chris is right now. Chris could get crazier as time goes on. I don't know. And again, I'm not a doctor. (Furthermore, Chris hides shit from people because he knows they'll call his shithead "friends" trolls. So it's hard to tell what's really going on.)

The amount of times I've seen someone ask if Chris is schizophrenic followed by Marvin outlining why he believes Chris isn't, is countless.
You guys should consider creating a containment thread to debate once and for all if Chris is schizo or not. You can pin it, and avoid repeating yourselves so often.

The thought of Chris just sitting there for extended periods of time unironically trying to move shit with his mind like he's a Obi-Wan Kenobi or some shit is fucking hysterical

I thought his court date was in December?

Edit: Yes his court date is on the 19th of December.

Oh man, that's my birthday. Happy Birthday to me!
Also @Null's. I suppose we'll both throw a toast to Christine.

Who wants to bet the new troll technique with this saga will be some sort of "OH GOD I JUST ACCIDENTALLY MURDERED BUGS BUNNY? HE JUST APPEARED BEHIND ME AND IT STARTLED ME AND I SHOT HIM" routine? Would something like that stick for Christine now? Gentle reminder, don't do this, don't pozload my negholep, just throwing out an obvious prediction.

@Marvin, What makes you so certain that Chris isn't actually hearing voices or seeing things? Not challenging your stance, despite what Internet Armchair Psychiatrists would say, you've got more experience wrangling Chris than most,. You've said it time and time again you believe it to be more of Chris playing "Make Believe" in a weird way and wishing it was true. I'm curious how you came to this conclusion with your interactions with him, and why you're confident its more of a "pretend" thing than a uncontrolled delusion.

To also add onto this point, when Chris goes out in public with his "loves" to hang out with other people, he doesn't ever acknowledge his sister wives. As in, he'll show up and be like "here's Magichan, Mewtwo, PonyVagina2.0, etc." but after that, not acknowledge their existence for the most part. He'll spend most of his time talking at the people he's with and never hold a conversation with any of his imaginary lovers. If he thought they truly existed, he wouldn't ignore them for two hours.

Its quite close to me own birthday too. However i wouldnt expect the court docs to be available right away.

Unless we have someone willing to try and get into the public gallery...

The way Chris talks about this stuff, there's a bit of desperation to it. I think he'd be more confident if he was experiencing hallucinations.

Additionally, he's pretty inconsistent in the nature of his imaginary world and his "powers". Sometimes he'll regard a new factoid as immutable fact in the other universe (whether or not he likes it, like with rosechu being a dickgirl). Yet other times he'll briefly confer with magichan, then inform you that you're wrong and his preferred worldview is the correct one. It seems very much like a child playing pretend, but occasionally failing to stick to the rules.

I would imagine that if Chris was genuinely hallucinating, he'd be much more consistent in his portrayal of his beliefs.

I find it very disappointing that he doesn't order them drinks and small plates, and insist that other people take pictures with them for instagram.

How is he not hearing voices when he literally tells us everyday that Magichan and the Neptunia goddesses send him psychic messages and he actually reacts to some of them?

Didn't he say something about hearing voices calling him gay, back in the "stare at the Sailor Moon poster to not fall off the straight path" or whatever days?
