The "you may have to override blah blah" is that smartscreen doesn't know the game yet, it doesn't help that it has this name

Huh.

Well so far I can say everything about is better than the first Undertale. Graphics are slightly more polished, there's more exciting shit happening on the overworld and the battles got more options and you get multiple partners in battle now so that's interesting. Only considering it's Undertale the game still wants you to spare everything so the last two end up feeling a bit redundant.

Any games that handle the same message/theme as Untertale but better/more subtly?

Wait is this for real?

Alright played through Deltarune. From what I can tell without giving spoilers the game is turning out to be pretty good. The combat is definitely handled better than before. You actually get some defense buff and a healer so you aren't dying most of the time, I like the characters currently, and I'm liking the civilian/fantasy mixing elements. From what I can tell it appears to be some sort of sequel but some of the dialogue makes me think it's not exactly the case.

Overall, as a "sequel" I'm liking the direction so far.

Dont post or talk anything about it on twitter because the mob of whales are going to beat the crap of you as i learned the hard way

Realist of real talk, that first transition in the opening battle was fucking mindblowing and perfect and I'm totally impressed by that.

Legit, props right there that need to be said.

That aside, everything about Deltarune is a bit off-putting. I constantly felt like the game was gonna pull a rug out from under me but it never happened. I wonder if this games going to end up being a real sequel to Undertale or if the whole things going to collapse into something different entirely. I liked the new character enough too, so that was fun.

Cautiously optimistic, especially with that ending. If the game pulls it's head out of its are with the pretentious moral bullshit then it might actually be good.

Does it come with a genocide route?

No idea. Knowing who made it, I played Pacifist and didn't kill anybody on the off-chance the game could somehow read the files from Undertale. (I only did the pacifist route in that game.)

I know one character constantly talks about NOT having to fight but given the ending being about as dark as I'd assume a Genocide run woulda been, there might not be any alternate endings this time.
