Honestly the low point of his 'career' must be beg on toasting his way into a stream with Logan and Winters. Then his super power of acting smug failing him and chimping out as they laughed him off the stream. The low hanging fruit fell squarely on his nuts.
I must admit a certain sense of disappointment, that with the dropping of this week in stupid and all of the free time that Don Sargon has created for himself, he has spent this time making a just 'ok' take on Starship Troopers, (Which to me was more of a film review, than a study of the actual book.)
Start a troll sperg war with Ralph, Andy, and Jim, and with the Kevin Logan stream attempting to go after low hanging fruit, and having the whole tree fall down on him.
Also his response afterwards as he stream sniped Jim was quite tone death. He didn't think Kristie was going to be there, even though as far as I gathered its a stream they co-host on a regular basis. So it's a weak excuse. Then claiming after the initial argument Kristie agreed with everything he said. It was just really basic bitch stuff.
To think that one could be intellectually bested by Kevin Logan, let alone Kristie Winters is more of a testament to the fact that he should have taken his own advice and left well enough alone for a few weeks to grieve. People would have understood, but instead we get this, which if this is his way of coping with grief then it really is sad. He's so busy looking a victory at the moment, without realizing that it will likely be a Pyrrhic one.
I feel for his wife, as she probably isn't getting the support she needs through a difficult time.
People cope with trauma in different and weird ways, so maybe hiding and ignoring it is what's getting Carl through...
But how fucking giddy must Vee be, watching this marriage fall apart over Carl's retreat into fighting his grand internet wars? If all goes well, he could get promoted from Capo Primi to Royal Concubine
I'm sure Vee has been loving every moment of this. I'm still not sure what the end goal of this is, aside from de-platforming their critics, but it's obvious that Vee has been loving being at the center of the drama that goes on because he is a part of it. If this is the only thing that he has to look forward to in life, then that truly is pathetic, but honestly he strikes me as the sort of person who doesn't actually have any friends IRL.
