11/18 - Chris's Twitter posts a video of him jacking off - and references the Idea Guys

The way I see it, Chris, like all autists, has trouble with subtlety. Like with his face blindness. He can latch onto concrete points of interest, like noses, eyes, mouth, but he has trouble noticing if someone's nose is a little too wide, or someone's got bigger lips than average. That's subtle comparison and he's not good at that.

For this reason, I think Chris really doesn't notice how unfeminine he looks or whether or not he's ugly. He looks in the mirror and sees nose, eyes, mouth and he's like "oh, that's... attractive? I think? or maybe not? this is hard".

lol well he seems to recognize how bald he is, judging by his finely crafted combover.

Nah you just probably hadn't noticed that his toy hoard has grown so large it needed it's own separate room now.

Yeah it's funny, I saw one of his old videos the other day and his toy cluttered room from 10 years ago didn't look bad by comparison.

Indeed. His recent combover and style decisions goes head to head with the "Autistic Failure of Facial Recognition." Maybe the kid is just fucking dumb.

Well. Chris isn't gonna post anything without people posting links/screencaps to this video for quite awhile. Gonna put quite the spin on his dimension merging garbage.

In fairness, Chris had to stare at himself in the mirror just to give himself a sense of image that would allow him to draw himself, and used that same image as the basis for his portrayal in the comic for years. And even totally normal guys tend to not notice balding on their own until it's quite bad, because its such a gradual process. Chris has been balding for like a decade and he's had long hair for a lot of that so he might have genuinely just not really noticed.

Or someone may have told him he's balding. Maybe the FtM troon team did.

How could you not notice him balding back when he had short hair? And even with long hair, when you wash it, it'd still be obvious

Chris is on HRT and most treatments actually stop/prevent genetic hair loss by blocking DHT production that causes the follicles to shrink and die. Although, once the follicle dies, there's no saving it aside from replacement via a transplant. So while Chris is never going to get a super feminine, juvenile hairline without surgery, the balding has likely stopped.

Of course, for most men that don't go on HRT. For thinning hair, a foam minoxidil (commonly known as Rogaine) works well and has little to no adverse side effects. More advanced cases are best treated with a pill-form medication such as finasteride or more aggressive dutasteride. Both are fairly safe and don't mess you up hormonally like HRT does. The key with balding and thinning is to catch it early. Chris treated his balding too late, but from what I can see, has made astounding improvements.

If Chris never went through the Tom Girl saga, he'd be completely bald. Which isn't a terrible look for the chandlers if they want to be masculine. They have a round head and thicker neck that suits it. Cole Smithey pulls it off well.
