Sargon has the right idea mayte, he just didn't present it well so it didn't come across to the listener mayte. I totally know how to debate this and I will challenge Kristi and Kevin to a debate livestream on this topic mayte

Unless I missed it, it's been a while since Vee was sent in to do damage control for Carl. I wonder if the Swashbuckler of Swindon is getting mildly annoyed that the carrier pigeon often does better than him and on top of that seems to get along better with the opponents.

I see now why Batten and Carl got chummy, I think they’re fairly similar people. Reading this letter reminds me of a similar resentment Carl expressed.
“Jim, you could’ve been the leader of Gamergate. We needed you and you abandoned us.”
“Dude I just wanted to have fun and troll people, I’m not a leader.”
“Nigel, you could’ve been leader of UKIP. But you abandoned us to do your radio show and media circuit.”
“I just wanted to leave the EU, that all UKIP meant to me and was meant for.”

It's especially funny since the people rioting would probably be closer to UKIP/trump voters than any commies. They are mostly disenfranchised, lower middle class, middle aged white people.
Trump voters main concern is migration. Not saying that isn't a concern with the nationalist crowd in France, but I haven't really seen anyone come out and say it (which is not to say it wouldn't be something the media wouldn't try to cover up, and they did try to pin it on Le Pen after all). The riots seem like they are more about hating corporatism and champagne socialism style policies that hurt working and lower middle class people who don't live in an apartment a block from work.

Supposedly they are working and middle class, largely white, and largely nationalistic if not right wing. Same demo I guess

Generally my understanding is that Batten is the head of a softer non-racist but otherwise BNPish wing of his tiny party and Farrage wants to multiculti it up. Of course Carl now threatened by someone who he should have been opposed to but wanted to ride to power threatens his attempt to make it big, so he turned on him.
UKIP have tried to throw off the racist label forever so Tommy Robinson joining it is just a massive stick to beat them with.

Well, that one didn't land. I guess I must be the only one who heard Vee's damage control on the Kumite after the Spencering
oh god, what did he say? As I recall he couldn’t accurately repeat what Spencer said in the post-stream.

True, but UKIP is so small and insignificant right now that an early start on moving towards nationalism or bet on a nationalist wave (even if it is very small) would be a totally reasonable move.

Even when that gets their payment processing pulled, which in Europe's climate is looking like a not insignificant chance?

hahahahaha, if Carl's Patreon gets shut down over UKIP gearing up to fight Islam....

An Islamic "Apologetic" on Kiwifarms? Yes, that is a troll bingo.
I'm not? I was just saying that the argument is stupid, which it is. It's fine to hate/dislike islam and everything around it.

But the smug sargonesque argument that anyone who *acshually* know about islam hates it is exceptional. Because I'm sure a kiwi poster knows more about islam than muslims, scholars and theologians. Just like sargon thinks he knows more about history/politics/sociology (with his high IQ high school diploma) than everybody else

Brief reminder that you are a kiwi poster.

"I met Nigel Farage and I fanboy'd a little bit. He knew who I was Jim! He knew who I was!"

I am catching up on this thread with the knowledge (from the featured post) that Farage left UKIP. And I was wondering what the responses would be like in this thread once I hit the point in the timeline where Farage made his announcement. Now, I expected Sargon would come up with some dumb response to make his past quotes look silly.

What I didn't expect was for Carl to denounce his hero right the fuck away.

Guess I earned my trashcans today. :dumb:

Yeah, you're definitely in the wrong neighborhood if you believe that appeal to authority matters.

Ironic, since it was the guy I responded to who was basically doing an appeal to authority by saying that people who actually know about islam dislike it, as if everybody else is just ignorant lol

also my comment didn't have any appeal to anybody lmao

Nobody really could've guessed that he would denounce Farage, especially since he seemed to Carl what Carl is to his sargonite fans.

I didn't really mean it like that, but if you want to take that from my statement feel free I guess. There's plenty of shit online on the topic, and although I'm a bit suspect that you've actually read the Quran, I don't really give enough of a fuck to debate the topic in a thread about a fat (possible) furfaggot with a failed political career who can't go a week without saying something stupid.
