I've heard they don't even have a single professional storyboard artist in the staff, and admit they don't give a single fuck about using their own reference sheets. No wonder it takes them a year to shit out a few minutes of deformed multicoloured blobs.

They also confirmed they don't have height charts. If I'm to understand right this issue with reference sheets and height charts comes from a misguided idea about how, if you look at older Disney movies, you can get an idea about which scene was storyboarded by which animator by a certain flair they put into it. Unfortunately in SU this translated to the storyboarders being given free reign to do pretty much whatever suits their whim of the day.

Yeah, I remember that too. Something like they go off a "relative height" compared to other chars on the scene, vs a consistent height like any normal person would do.

She's just a character who likes acting. It's not that deep.

The article:

Yep, that's that article by Riley, the same scammer behind the Arkh Project. It's always funny to see this come up, knowing that her own bastion of LGBT POC representation was an aborted disaster about a self-insert and a racist Asian character.

Riley's still out there trying and there are people who don't know who she is.

That should be fixed.

.....Did they just forget that there's a whole black family in SU, and that they're all portrayed in a good light?

The dad and grandma are immigrants from Africa, the dad's a hard-working owner of his own restaurant, the grandma's the successful town mayor, the one daughter is super hard-working and dutiful, and while the other is a slacker she's really kind and friendly to everyone.

That's some dang good positive representation, so why are they mad?

They don't want to fuck that family. They want to fuck the rocks.

If it doesn't fit the narrative that a jewish lesbian is a racist nazi/fascist supporter (whatever they claim the diamonds to be this week) they throw it out.

Yes, it is. It doesn't absolve this show of all of its problems, but you're not wrong at all about anything here. However, I think you're forgetting it's because of one thing fused into many-a-thing. That being that SJWs are fucking rock stupid and don't know anything about what they want, let alone exactly know what they want.

That, and they're only watching for the gay space rocks - without them, there would be little-to-no fans of this show at all, and even if there were, I'm willing to go as far as to say this. That being they'd be outnumbered by the kids who religiously watch TTG! (or the fairly new Total Dramarama. Don't be surpried by this, either.). Albeit they don't want to admit to it, for some BS fear of ostrichization by those who stupidly think themselves critics, which butt-hurt losers is a more appropriate term.

Instead of chimping out like a massive cuck, why not just say they're all female and leave it at that?
Because then they can't challenge "gender roles". Even though the fan base they're catering to believe in multiple genders and that being gender fluid is a thing.

I think you may have misunderstood the purpose of this thread.

This thread isn't about being critical of Steven Universe. This thread is making fun of the loonies that tie themselves into knots because they're so critical of Steven Universe.

To be fair, bashing this show for what's wrong with it has been fun, however.
