Oh wow 25 dollariedoos for her to color my line art using the Dobson method, what a fucking steal. I am sure she won't just steal it and claim the entire piece her's.

I have never heard of someone wanting you to pay for a collab, aren't collabs supposed to a fun thing friends do? Does she pay me for my line art? I have so many question.

Paying for a collab is rather ridiculous, the purpose of a collab is for two people to do part of a drawing (for ex. someone does the line art, another colors it in) and the ‘payment’ at the end is the finished product. Adopt / commission collabs do exist, but in those cases both parties are getting 50/50 profits.

Why would you pay for someone to color in your own work which is free? It doesn’t make any sense.

Why does tumblr always make black characters look so ashy? Color picker exists for a reason.

im assuming its BECAUSE they use color picker, at one of the darkest points of the original piece as well, since anything else would be accidental whitewashing and a sin /sneed

real talk tho, thats a p big mistake a lotta new artists make
they colorpick a color and then go shading and lighting it from there all the same exact stock way they do with every piece, usually with just plain ol darker and lighter values of the same hue
that kinda coloring can look off at the best of times- but ESPECIALLY if they colorpicked an odd part of the original painting, since it might not only be shaded much darker/lighter than the character's avarage skin tone, but may also be a completely different hue depending on how complicated the coloring is

they just cant see whats wrong with it since they assume "well i colorpicked it so it HAS to be perfect"
u p much ALWAYS need to take creative liberties with those kinda things

On the bright side I don't think this was spurred by any kind of social justice activism. SecondLife and The Sims have had a slightly niche fascination with characters with really bizarre facial proportions for a while now.

I'm not saying that the simming community isn't infested with SJWs, far from it...they's still chasing the vitiligo bandwagon and just the other day I ran across one of the uwu dainty aesthetic simmers RBing black simblr about how the community is rife with racism (with no examples of course) and quote, "if you're uncomfortable, that's ok, that's your WHITE FRAGILITY."
