What are some games that you like enough where you can always replay them?

For me, it's probably most of the MGS games. Probably Snake Eater, Guns Of The Patriots, Peace Walker, and Sons Of Liberty are the ones I always enjoy replaying time to time, and i always discover new techniques or ways to beat the games faster. I think a second option for me would be some of the older Call Of Duty games, like the original Black Ops and World At War.

I always find myself returning to Fallout 4, more so than New Vegas. Mainly because I always feel like I need more junk to store in my vault and I find myself always making projects like building weapons, armour, or robots to fight each other.

I also end up returning to Payday 2 a lot, there's always more money to be stored in a virtual vault and see those stacks climb.

I'm starting to think I'm a gaming hoarder.

Doom 1/Doom 2: Both for their own auspicious merits, and for the vast mod/wad community that ensures the game(s) will never die
TF2: Because sometimes I get a hankering to dick with somebody in a random match and TF2 fills that niche
World of Warcraft: eh I like raiding and vanilla was great
Dawn of War 1: SPEESSSSSSS MEHREEEEEEEEEEEEEENS

Fallout 4 is pretty neat with its vault system. New Vegas is probably my favorite out of the series next to 4 and the original top down games. I can always find myself going down a different path in the story every time I start a new game in it.

I tend to play Kid Icarus, Link to the Past, the first Phantasy Star, and Ys: Oath in Felghana at least once a year.

New Vegas but more so Oblivion. Both with fan stability patches.
Left 4 Dead 2 when I’m drinking and gaming with people.
If you’re an xcom fan try Silent Storm Sentinels. Or Jagged Alliance 2. Both have a bunch of fan updates that include things the developers didn’t finish. Both are tactical games that let you approach combat with a lot of freedom.

- Supreme commander 2
- Company of Heroes
- Sins of a Solar Empire
- Endless Space
- COD 4, 5, & 6
- Left 4 Dead 2

Silent Storm was great, and could be worth a replay, but I hear it runs like shit on modern machines.

Symphony of the Night immediately came to mind. Everything about it is superb and I go out of my way to buy it every time it's rereleased because I love it that much.

I've replayed all of the main series Pokemon games multiple times so I guess those as well.

Fallout 76, it's the most immersive, fully-realized game world ever made. In fact, it's more than just a video game, it's a transcendent experience, like meditation. Anyway I'd continue to lavish praise on it here but I have to go and
play some Fallout 76.
