What are some games that you like enough where you can always replay them?

I replay Chrono Trigger every few years.
I'm pretty much always up for a game of Age of Empires 2.
I've played over 1000 hours of Skyrim and I'll probably go back to it and reroll a new character at some point.

Oblivion I love the crap out of that game no idea but i tend to start a character every year.

A couple people mentioned the Doom games, and I'm inclined to agree since I played Doom 2016 something like 10 times over the course of 2016. The original game is also one I can pop in when I want to and just have a blast. Doom II's got the best mods though thanks to its bigger enemy variety and the Super Shotgun.

The Max Payne trilogy is another one; they're all short enough to where marathoning them isn't a chore and each of them feels unique enough to where I don't get burned out. That and I find something new every time I play them.

The Old Republic.

Unfortunately I'm not a NEET and enjoy being financially independant so I can't just stay home all day to fulfill my dreams of being a full time guildmaster with a superiority complex.

Shadowgate is another one. The remake was really nice, and they have a setting where you can play the old music.

The game I've probably replayed the most is Resident Evil 4. It's one of my all-time favorite video games, and even though I've beaten it probably thirty or forty times by now, I never get tired of playing it. I've also sunk way more time than I care to admit into Knights of the Old Republic I and II, Fallout 3, New Vegas, Skyrim, Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, Mass Effect 1 and 2, and Doom 2016.

OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast is pretty much perfect for playing every now and then without getting old since it's OutRun where most gameplay modes only last around 5 minutes at a time (except for that one mode that has all 30 tracks from OutRun 2 and OutRun 2 SP stringed end to end, which takes roughly half an hour to play through).

I really wish OutRun 2/SP/2006 could get a modern console release but that's not going to happen unless Sega pays through the nose again for the Ferrari license (or, say, some studio with a master Ferrari license like Microsoft's Turn 10 pays for it for Sega in exchange for XBox One exclusivity).

Simulator? Euro Truck Simulator 2 is relaxing to play while listening to a podcast in the background.

I do that sometimes with Test Drive Unlimited (either 1 or 2 on XBox 360). I actually do have Euro Truck Simulator 2 but my laptop is old enough that I can have either a browser playing podcasts/live radio/livestreams or a game running (at low resolutions) but I can't have both running at the same time.

Silent Storm was great, and could be worth a replay, but I hear it runs like shit on modern machines.
ran fine for me on a windows 10 laptop like a year ago. bought it on GOG. plus theres a lot of balance fan patches for stuff like removing the mech suits so i bet theres compatibility ones.
Tetris isnt a game you revisit. It's like riding a bike. It's a skill you don't forget.

I love the Bethesda shoutouts but now RIP.
