I can't even begin to imagine how rank he must stink under his polyacrylic pullover, given the fact that he doesn't have the time to shower before his streams because his jhab is so hard and takes so much time. *gag*

Phil's lies have to be simple and universal enough to con as many rubes as possible. So it's Taxes, it's Depression, it's Group X is out to get me. Presumably everyone saw what happened with tutankhamunnn. He doesn't have to elaborate complicated details, use vocabulary words. 'Bad man did bad thing to me.' Simple.

This is rather devious, if it's intentional: Hype up an event, even have two events leading up to it. Just at the cusp, play forlorn, cry pain on Twitter, then call off the anticipated finale. Now, in Phil's absence, this downtrodden image of him will be left in the minds of his young and naive viewers. When Phil returns, the day after Christmas, the worried viewers will have been enriched by their families' gifts of money, ready to rescue their poor friend Phil.

tutankhamunnn being some deep-cover super villain is Phil's retroactive re-writing of history. While he was clearly an attention whore, there was nothing to indicate tut had some nefarious scheme. It was only after Phil maligned him that tut turned 'Detractor'.

Yeah I think the light buzz made it hard for him to keep up his self-delusions. Usually he probably goes right past buzzed into "too drunk to think"

Just some words before I go back to my yearly socialisation with the family.

I don't believe the last stream was an intended pity party to gather pity money. DSP can't act or create future plans. It's way more believable he found himself in this emotional state and just ran with it out of poor desperation. Kinda hard being objective when you're in his situation, and be DSP. A late night talk with Kat may be the key. Really, horses never forget, including a Halloween stream, every mistake of him adds up. And when you think about it, when has DSP ever realized his own flaws? Only a girlfriend or Twitch can influence him, at least on the surface. However his performance was so damn miserable and awful, there is a small chance he might sensed it himself.

The throat pain arc: I will give him the benefit of the doubt as this is an easy explanation without corners. The timing also adds up, such a throat pain does not occur right after yelling or the next day, but when the vocal cords are in the middle of the healing process. Like muscle ache (in your throat), there is always this pain delay.

However. How hard is it to make a note on your screen: Sorry my throat hurts.
And speak with lowered volume if necessary. So I also estimate he might not have the enthusiasm after the garbage stream yesterday. Or he just lacks the imagination.
Dave won't move his ass or brain muscles if his house is in danger, his gin nights are way easier. His solution to the house situation will always be begging and blaming.

His lazyness, ego and lack of imagination will always be his big barriers.

Well, yeah, but it was the "not getting the money he wanted" and the disappointment that MADE HIM DEPRESSED.

He's not sad that people said the stream sucked. They do that every day.

He was sad and upset that his payday didn't come in.

I think that he was mildly buzzed earlier and when it wore off, combined with hunger, made him tired, which made things worse. The eye closing thing was a dead giveaway to me.

This bit kills me. D$P "editing stuff", lmao....oh wait, he was being serious? NO, no he was not. He didn't even have a concrete plan based off his "as Santa eating it OR as Bob Ross...or whatever...". Heck, tinfoil hat time, but this cereal MAY have been something Khet bought to eat for breakfast and D$P just grabbed it for his owed and promised 'marathon' event showing, because he had neglected to actually get anything. Also, "No opportunity to do it LAST WEEK". During the span of seven days, D$P had absolutely no time to record himself eating cereal. Let that sink in for a moment. His throat didn't bother him enough to cancel a stream, but it stopped him from doing a 10 min video where he eats something presumably with the aid of throat coating m-i-l-k*. Now, D$P has showcased cereal before on D$P Tries It, so this item it not completely out of character. It is possibly one of the most unimaginative and incredibly lazy choices he could have made.

* Not sure about the differences of fake m-i-l-k, which I believe he uses due to his 'partial lactose intolerance' that isn't affected by copious amounts of cheese consumption.

( Double post because even though I posted a 'support ticket' in the thread I was advised to, I still lack the ability to Edit my posts. Sorry.)
He had OVER a month to do this as well, folks. He had since when the goal was reached to yesterday to record a D$P Tries it. Stores roll out the Christmas goods around October now ( slight , but only slight exaggeration here), so by the time the Nov. sub goal was reached he had ample items on store shelves to choose from and weeks upon weeks to record something.

*deep sigh* See... *even deeper sigh* Well, this is what I always get for being truhfull en ahnest with peepl. Always an idiot or a child or both *ackackack* *slaps his leg* that goes book smart on me. Ok. Listen. I've got an lactose intolerance, so I can only drink lactose-free m.i.l.k., ok? But with cheese, and that's where you're stupid and inexperienced because you are a child, cheese is in fact, um, like, dehydrated m.i.l.k.. And through the dehydradetation process, the lactose gets destroyed, like, um, totally. It turns all to carbon dyoxsyde. Wow! That's essencially what the holes in the cheese are, carbon dyoxsyde, ok? Right. Um, so, no lactose in cheese Mr. Stupid. Better read some books before you try to lecture me, ok? But thanks for the money dummy. *bans viewer*

Its moments like these where I suspect he whispers softly to himself as he lays alone in bed "...there was something I could have done". Then he weeps fitfully followed by a late night gin session. (:_(

Yeah, he knows. That's why he drinks, to forget. That's also why I bet he's not actually used to being buzzed. He makes a glass of mostly liquor and in an hour he's too drunk for self reflection.
