Well, DarksydePhil certainly doesn't, because he just mocked Ninja again. DSP decided it was a good idea to condescendingly "praise" Ninja his skills as a professional streamer and his looks.

Seems like the rule of other streamers not allowed to be mentioned by anyone seems to have been thrown out of the window, because both DSP and his chat were shitting on Ninja, without anyone in chat getting banned for it.

New DSP Theory: The meme DSP repeats that 'I received a message from a detractor/troll/menatally ill mob mentality nudnig that they "used to believe all the LIES about you but I gave you a chance and you totally changed my mind and saw everything people are saying about you ISN'T TRUE and now I'm a fan and think you're a really COOL, CHILL, FUN DOOD. I'm glad I gave you a chance!" Yeah dood. That's what I've always said. If people would just give me a chance they would see that EVERYONE ELSE IS LYING, and my streams are TOTALLY DIFFERENT than what people say. I'm just about focusing on PAHSITIVITY and having a FUN, CHILL time hanging out with you guys,' is a manipulative lie that he tells because he genuinely thinks if he says it enough it will convert all the detractors into fans. This represents the only effort he believes he needs to put forth to placate/appease/convert the thousands of people that his narcissistic personality dubs a "detractor" because they don't blindly worship him and agree with every utterance of his.

I've heard DSP repeat this exact scenario verbatim somewhere between 65 and 100 times in the last year and a half, but strangely his Twitch viewing audience has not grown by 65 to 100 newly converted fans, or at all. Either fans are becoming disgusted with his scum-fuckery and leaving at the exact same rate that "detractors" are giving him a chance and having revelations about him that cause a fan conversion, or DSP is lying.

Lets examine some elements of this lie.
  1. Thousands of people who dislike him due so irrationally because they never view his True & Authentic Raw Unedited Cahntent. If they did they would all be fans and see that EVERYTHING EVERYONE ELSE SAYS IS A LIE and taken OUT OF CAHNTEXT.

    Many people watch his streams and videos and independently conclude that he is a completely dogshit at providing LP "commentary", is almost completely unwatchable due to disgusting body noises he leans directly into his microphone to make, only interacts with viewers when they pay him or he is being negative shit-talking and punishing them in some way, is terrible at the gameplay itself yet refuses to acknowledge it instead negatively attacking the creators and anyone who enjoys the game, etc.

    Of all the videos that are critical of him I'm aware of less than a handful of instances where his statements and actions have been misrepresented or distorted. They are all from DSP's own videos that he himself has uploaded, and his words and actions are presented directly from them.

  2. All these people who believe completely distorted lies about him NEVER GIVE HIM A CHANCE. This means that all of their criticism is COMPLETELY INVALID, there is no reason he should ever listen to them and there is nothing he should do to try to change or better himself in anyway, he is the best version of himself if people would just look with an open mind.

    What these people believe about him is one-hundred gorillion percent completely fictional. He is not fat, he does not have bald spots in multiple locations, his hairline is not receding, he has lots of muscles he kept from his bodybuilding days and it's pretty cool, his goatee has not become very patchy and is as full as it's ever been, he is not in a rebound relationship with a cardboard doormat who wants nothing to do with him, he is extremely good at video games, he is an exceptional entertainer and orator beloved by an audience of 25 million or by the same logic used when he made that statement on the Shoryuken forums an audience of +400 million because every YouTube view is an entirely seperate person who fully watched a video and thoroughly enjoyed it, his content is art and people who don't enjoy it aren't intelligent enough to understand it, and etc. with the narc delusions.

    Anyone who performs the magical act of watching his livestream transmogrify into a True & Authentic fan so if DSP were to change anything he would disappoint all these True & Authentic, highly intelligent, art aficionados. His audience definitely doesn't generally consist of sad, pathetic, easily manipulated retards; that's what all of his "detractors" are until they see the shining light from their screens that is his POSITIVE, FUN & CHILL, INTERACTIVE LIVESTREAMS ON TWITCH. Please TIP me. It really helps out. I get that money right away.

It's a complete narc fantasy that he vomits out whenever he thinks the 'All the people who give me a chance love me' meme should be repeated because he believes it's actually working to convert 'haters' to sycophants who unquestioningly belive all his revisionist history, hypocrisy, and delusions.

I personally enjoyed the "Ninja's fame is already dying out" three sentences after the mention of Ninja's NYE special in Times Square.

I know chat goes fast and those were probably posted at the same time, but I still find it hilarious.

Ninja did a Twitch stream from Times Square during NYE. That's more than DSP could ever hope to accomplish.

I've considered his relation to Hoarders, too. There is his general Hoarder behaviour, like the empty Loot Crate boxes stacked to the ceiling Phil exhibited during July's impomptu IRL stream (I think this exhibition lends credence to the theory of why Phil no longer continues his traditional House Tours. He was fine with an impromptu tour of his "office" - upstairs hallway - "storage nook". However, the spaces he shares with Kat remain off limits. Spaces which would contain the expensive purchases. This was proven by what little we could see of their kitchen in the last DSP Tries It.)

The rats-nest of Youtube footage is his daily offering to The Hoard, but as internet videos, they don't have the needed visual weight, the permanence of physical items that can be invested with symbolic value, to look over every day and enjoy his self-image in the symbolic reflection of the invested items. That's what his decades worth of hard drives are for.

They are worthless to him as media storage. The inevitable breakdown of the hardware and the impossibility of uploading all the stored videos aside, Phil has refused to upload a video stored in his hard drives when asked. The rats-nest they contain is an unsorted mess. He wouldn't be able to find the videos even if he wanted to. And yet he keeps them, and adds to the collection.

"Depressant" is a fantastic meme because although popularly referred to doesn't mean what a lot of people think it does (i.e.: "depressant means it makes you depressed"). "Depressant" refers to alcohol minimizing or depressing your senses, feelings, thoughts and brain and in particular your inhibitions and also potentially cause you to make decisions which you wouldn't normally have or take risks which can cause you or others harm).

If you're a keen student of DSP and sometimes travel to his prestream forest with your sperg-binoculars like an autistic bird watcher you'll already be familiar with one of his classic behaviors: avoidance. I don't think anyone would say he doesn't act or speak in a way which is avoidant almost every moment of his life.

So if you agree DSP is sometimes/often avoidant its easier to look at alcohol as "liquid avoidance" because instead of dealing with your break up/debt/job stress/slapfight you have a few drinks and suddenly the issue isn't as dramatic. The avoidant behavior with alcohol presents because a person can always have a few drinks and you can magically feel a lot less bad at whatever is causing you grief.

I'm sure there are people who are biologically depressed (which I doubt includes DSP or most people who experience mid-life depression) who react strangely with alcohol but "alcohol is a depressant" is just a meme, not because its incorrect but because people very often misconstrue the term "depressant" to mean depressed.

Alcohol is a fantastic depressant. It can make your quandaries in life disappear and make you momentarily forget the anxiety/blues/agitation you have during the day, that is why its a "depressant" and not because it makes a person feel depressed. The reason it is bad is because it minimizes a person's executive functions (increasing the chance a person makes bad/risky, short term/long term decisions with no regard for personal well being or consequence) and through continued alcohol use can eventually cause/contribute or combine with issues such as addiction, anxiety, alcoholism, compulsive behavior and depression (I believe most of these occur outside actual alcohol use and that alcohol is the escape people choose to avoid dealing with shit.

So when he says "alcohol is a depressant" you can ignore his explanation because its wrong, but you can't discount him actually being depressed but what you can likely take it to mean the following:
  • I'm anxious or feeling shit because of my debt and alcohol allows me to exacerbate or escape those feelings
  • I'm anxious or feeling shit because of my soulmaid and alcohol allows me to exacerbate or escape those feelings
  • I'm anxious or feeling shit because of losing my house and alcohol allows me to exacerbate or escape those feelings
  • I'm worried I can't do anything to turn my streams into a more profitable enterprise and alcohol allows me to exacerbate or escape those feelings
  • I'm worried that I already peaked in life 5 years ago with YouTube and alcohol allows me to exacerbate or escape those feelings
  • I've always thought that I should branch into doing YouTube videos covering wrassling and I think I'd be good about it but I'm very apprehensive doing it because it might not be successful but I had a few drinks and it feels like it'd work right now.
  • I'm threatened or hate people like Ninja and because I had a few drinks I'm very happy to talk about it openly on my Twitter at 3 AM.
And yeah even if he drinks only after streaming or "working" it still works as "liquid avoidance". I really doubt DSP is a full alcoholic but he probably shows some terms of alcohol dependence (meaning he pours himself a nice icey gin with a "gout soda" mixer each evening and lets his mind escape from his troubles).

If he were a fully fledged alcoholic I'd expect him to smash 6 shots of gin each morning and turn up to stream and call PewdiePie a white nigga. He hasn't really reached that point at all, but his likely "dependence" on alcohol on a regular basis probably isn't very healthy.

The thing about alcohol is it has drastically different emotional effects depending on a bunch of variables.

Dark's 3 beers and eggnog (on an empty stomach) would wear off and leave him sleepy. THIS is where I think he really lost his emotional control and ability to maintain his self-delusions. The alcohol didn't really do it (though a light buzz can often do things like that; this is why I think he drinks straight liquor, to get past buzzed and straight into "drunk enough to forget") but I've drank in the morning and by the evening was feeling quite morose due to being tired.

Also (I forgot to quote it) but someone was talking bout how he should do DSP Tries it for terrible foods. That combined with the year old beer in the fridge really made me think of
