Artcow Luna Tiny / Sara Elizabeth O'Hern / Anonymous-Asexual / AnonymousArtist - Fake troon, fake asexual, possible art thief

I've seen a lot of theories on what Lvna's hair is inspired by. Toothpaste? My Little Pony? Me, myself, I think it's based off the vore pride flag.

Even then, there's a difference between being a dick to a "5 year old who clearly doesn't know what they're doing" and "a new twenty something who went to art school and has a huge ego".

For as much as people can complain, Luna is NOT a child. They act like one, but they are NOT one. I almost refuse to believe they went to art school because let me tell you, some of those professors can be brutal. So the fact that they have this awful ego is just really bizarre. I don't know if they did receive criticism and that they just ignored it or they compensated by increasing their ego, but either way Luna has issues with their art that they refuse to acknowledge.

The fact that people are defending others like this by saying "they are child" annoy me not because children are immature and generally a still learning. It's just a shit excuse to prevent people from improving. Why take criticism when you can claim you got "death threats" and "are a child" so you don't have to listen, right?
I was thinking more like older children. Preteens and teenagers. I should've clarified that. I don't want people thinking that I tell little kids their drawings suck :( I think kids in their teens and preteens are just as capable of improving their art as college students are.

But anyways, I agree with you. I don't know how the fuck she graduated art school at all with her horrible attitude towards everything.

She didn't go to art school as in an arts-specific college like CalArts or RISD, she went to a liberal arts college with a Studio Art major. I can't find anything on their website about submitting a portfolio, which makes me think it's not the most selective of arts programs. They did give her an Arts scholarship, which I'm a little surprised by.

That makes sense.

This is what bothers me about the tumbler artfags who use children as their shield; no one who is giving a legit artistic critique isn't going to do so in context. (note: not saying you guys did this, the opposite, I'm agreeing with you. Just wanted to make sure that was clear before I continue this wine soaked rant) No one in their right mind would tell a kid they have to work on their perspective or anatomy, you see if they have their basic shapes right and guide them forward as their brains develop a keener eye for the world around them.

Adults who don't consider themselves beginners, who look to make money off their art (legit jobs, pateron, webcomic ads, commissions etc) don't get to hide behind this. You will inevitably draw crap and people will call you out on it, but you as an adult have to be able to brush yourself off and go "a shit, I have to practice ____" until it's not a problem.
Someone who is actually into art and improving can spot the difference between someone telling them their facial angles are off and to use more/better reference, and someone telling them to go back to school because they don't want to pay for a piece/some work you've done.

All these social justice douchebags thinks that being in their safe spaces free from criticism lets them take on the title of artist with none of the effort (It's my style, I didn't ask for your critique, it's just for fun (even tho it's their job), I have to draw X amount a week so quality doesn't matter...etc etc).
You can't pretend to be an athlete if you don't run, everyone knows you're not a chef if you can't cook, but apparently anyone can pick up a pencil, copy and paste the same face and now call themselves a professional artist.

What they don't realize is that in the real world, making real comics, cartoons, ads, games, whatever, the criticism is part of the job. If you're a carpenter you're going to get callouses, if you're a teacher you'll have an angry parent scream at you when their kid fails and when you call yourself an artist everything you do, from drunken napkin doodles to million dollar game assets will be criticized.
If you're a vet who cries and throws a fit every time a cat scratches you, your coworkers will never soothe you and tell you it's the cats fault for scratching, or that the cat will never scratch again, they will tell you that you get used to it. I watched a seamstress laugh as she showed me a needle she slipped with and had under her fingernail; these are the pitfalls of your chosen profession and you don't get to choose which cat scratches or which needle stabs.
You don't like it?
Don't claim to be an artist.
I know I sound angry but I'm really not, this is just a fact.
yes, some bad artists can succeed just by yelling loud enough (Rob Rob Liefeld) but they had the connections and money to push past what would have driven most of us into financial ruin.

TLDR; Criticism is to art what drug tests are to pharmaceuticals. Can't handle the consquences? Go do something else.

If a school isn't depending on having a certain amount of students placed after graduation they usually have a shit art program they can push students through. Take three years of their money, push em out, take on the next round of actual art school rejects. It's actually kinda sad, but such is life.

This is apropos nothing but I wanna just take a second to say my long ass commentary about people choosing not to medically transition was dumb and I’ve since let go of the last lingering bits of my own troon rhetoric bc you know what? A bitch is tired of thinking they were also trans. Nugender rhetoric like the shit Luna spews stole years of my life. Like yeah there are people who do legitimately have health concerns about the procedures, but Luna? She can eat ass for demanding to be seen as not female while simultaneously refusing any and all medical transitioning because it’s icky. Pick something and stick to it, goddamn. </mad on the internet>

The fact that she has a studio art degree but no easily accessible portfolio online is really funny. Like, isn't portfolio building a big part of most art degrees?

I do this but it’s mostly because kids ask me to. I usually carry a sketchbook around me and kids semi often ask how draw so well and I’m happy to show them. Seriously I have been teaching human and animal anatomy to many kids about 6 and up. They are pretty fascinated about basic drawing techniques plus it can give them serious level up to class mates and friends. Kids can take criticism pretty well as long it’s in one on one teaching session.

Ooh, she drew a comic about "legitimate criticism"--

She talks about people being treated as "less than human" but draws anyone who disagrees with her as a featureless gray silhouette with no eyes (a.k.a. "the windows of the soul").

Bigot much? Or is that conveniently "just your opinion"?

--and put eyes on the person talking! She improved on a point that was criticized!

Thanks for the reminder of how bad BWW has gotten.

Jesus, using the first person in a wiki article? They aren't even trying anymore.

I dunno, Norad Bush's entries are consistently hilarious, and he used a first-person informal approach. But he also obviously put effort into the articles, whereas recent entries by others are just kind of perfunctory.

Looks like the reason she hasn't posted in a while is because jobs are really hard on my mental health y'all.

Oh wait, she jobless now.

Holy crap. I’ve only seen one other person get fired after a month. Granted, it can’t be more retarded than my uncle getting fired from a gas station attendant job, but that’s still really bad.

off topic, but i really hate how she draws herself like she's the smartest person alive, like her words just destroy any dissenting opinions with facts and logic, and once any mortal peon that's so many steps below her hears her voice, they just die from pure shock.

here's a prime example.

who the fuck looks like this when they get called an asshole? this is the face you make when a fucking bum bursts into your house and starts nailing your baby to the wall with a nail gun. in reality, she probably has no self confidence and chokes when anyone says anything "mean" about her, and that's why she draws comics like this. it's what she wants to say. so fucking pathetic.
