That's essentially it. It's not enough for Bob that Spawn is a comic book series that has diverse characters in it. The entire identity of the characters and the book itself has to also be about how oppressed they are by white people.

And that just makes for a dumb and shitty story. There's tons of novels out there about oppressed people defeating their oppressors, and even then, there might be a twist that shows that when they start oppressing people, they are even worse than the previous oppressors.

I was never a Spawn fan for some reason. However, I hope that the movie would be entertaining enough that it isn’t like the MCU type that we’re used too nowadays.

The Spawn HBO series blurred the line between cartoon animation and adult programming, and is well regarded enough that you can still watch every episode on Youtube. That picture Bob shared to ridicule Spawn? It's 50% Angela, who broke out of the Spawn universe and became a MARVEL character. Everything about that Bob should be able to respect, but again his hate boners and logic can't fit inside the same 'beetus brain.

And the comments are trashing him, although in the threads there's a bunch of people claiming the people who are against what SonicFox did are "alt-right".

On twitter he was using Spawn as an example of something ridiculous and that's bad, but then demands quirky and ridiculous from his games.
He keeps talking about the game awards as if they are respected and mainstream when it's a advertiser fueled corporate circle jerk and everybody knows it. But Bob is not out of touch.

Bob consists of 100% hot air. He can ramble on until the inevitable heat death of the universe, and it would add absolutely nothing to the conversation. The only reason Bob even has views is because he joined YouTube early on, when the bar was really low. For all the talk Bob spews about the obsolete wasteland ghouls evolving, he hasn't evolved one bit after the bar for quality YouTube videos kept getting higher and higher. He's basically the guy who points a consumer grade video camera at the screen in an era where capture cards are the norm.
