Official Physical Health Speculation & Cancer Discussion - hulthy just big

I am sure her cheeks are bigger than they were a couple of weeks ago, either she has been on a legendary binge or she has learned a new technique of storing food in her mouth to starve off hunger on the car trips.

Hey, you never know, maybe AL is always honest with her "what I ate today" videos, maybe when the binge monster takes over she blacks out. Any crop circles or cattle mutilations in her area lately? I wonder if she ever wakes up with the taste of blood in her mouth and dirt between her toes.

There's a chance even if the story about getting BP medication is true, that she didn't take it.

More than just a chance, she's a compulsive liar and afraid of pills.

As scholars of Amberiana, we must look to facial roundness, gunt magnitude, manic speech, disheveled appearance, and filthy surroundings to glean Amber's mental state. The words coming out of her mouth aren't often true, but more of a ham-handed manipulation on her part to convince us she's not coming undone.

Aren’t diruretics (water pills) usually the first line of treatment ? And aren’t those usually supposed to rid your body of water retention? So if we believe AL went to the Dr, which I doubted and now I doubt even more as her diagnosis’ change, why is she retaining so much water weight stilll if she is on the meds?

Yes, and also deathfats often lose a huge amount of water weight when you put them on diuretics. If she was actually taking them then she'd be making videos and bragging about her weight loss.

I'm just sorta spitballing but I think Amber lies about her income on her patient intake forms, so the singing doctor thinks she's poorer than dirt and can't afford any visits to a specialist or any diagnostic tests. Echocardiograms and sleep studies are expensive.

Of course that really doesn't explain why the doctor isn't pushing her to get her fasting blood glucose or HbA1c levels checked, because those cost less than a trip to the Cheesecake Factory...

I don’t know a thing about high blood pressure meds, but AL said her doc put her on one for her “slightly high” bp.

Let’s see

Diagnosed for sleep apnea without a sleep study or a referral to have one to get an rx for a CPAP.

No longer is losing circulation in her leg- which has been painful for months- it’s just a pulled muscle now. Wouldn’t a doc need to do an u/s to find that out and then refer to a vascular specialist?

Still retaining enough water to make her look like the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man after given meds and probably told to stick to a low sodium diet.

Has not mentioned her doctor’s office weight loss challenge that she should weight to start in the New Year, which she was so touched she was moved to tears.

Something smells here. Could just be AL, but I think it’s all a bunch of BS too.

It’s ok honey boo boo, fuck the health care and insurance you want a new phone
Alot of blood pressure medications incorporate some diureritcs. The seemingly go to one is Lisinopril and my doctor told me it has a minor diuritic in it.

But I doubt she has minor blood pressure issues at her size, with rampantly untreated diabetes. Lisinopril is really just for fairly mild cases. Like you know some one who consistently is right out of the normal range when getting their reading by the doctor type of shit.

They wouldn't give it to people who had a serious medical issue ever. Heck I think it's often just perscribed to people with diabetes as a precaution. Not that I'm an expert, but from what my doctor told me, it's a common occurence just to try and minimize that aspect of diabetes.

Alot of people think you need to do fasting etc for diabetes testing. This is candidly untrue. Especially A1c. A1C levels are measured long term, you don't see much of a change day to day.

If you were down in the range of 5.6 or so for blood sugar levels when fasting, sure you might want to do daily monitoring. But your A1C is a long term thing. Measured month to month.

As an aside Hamber, most insulin is now designed to be taken and then eat. Along with most medications for Diabetes. So you can use it as an excuse to order the entire mcdonalds menu.

The diuretic in Lisinopril is called hydrochlorothiazide or HCTZ. It is available over the counter as a "water pill" and it is commonly prescribed as a standalone medication (not binded to Lisinopril) for people newly diagnosed with hypertension.

I don't blame her doctor for doing that, either. Stronger blood pressure drugs can cause edema or other serious problems and Amberlynn is a patient that has to be dragged (by a crane) kicking and screaming into the doctor's office. I can understand why Doctor Singstar didn't want to start her on one of the stronger BP medications because it's too difficult to monitor her or manage her care.

I'm surprised Amber wasn't asked to monitor her blood pressure at home and chart it. Or maybe she was, who knows.

She's refused a liver panel in the past and most doctors would want to do one before putting a patient on any medication if they suspect the patient might have nonalcoholic steatohepatitis. I have my doubts about the singing doctor but also Amber is pretty much the worst patient ever and we're getting her filtered view of what went down, so it's really impossible to tell what's going on.

I have a question for our medics here. How much fat could Al lose by liposuction? I know that if you want to suck a lot of fat, you need to go for the fat that is around the organs. Which is even pretty expensive in her case I guess.

Not a medic, but from what I’ve heard, most surgeons wouldn’t even operate on Al given her lack of information and delicate condition. As far as liposuction goes for mildly overweight people, I heard they only remove around 5-10 pounds at most at a time. They can’t remove that much or it causes serious health problems.

I’m not sure about liposuction around the organs though. The only liposuction I’ve heard about was for things like arms, legs, bottom, and abdomen. It seems too dangerous to attempt to remove visceral fat.

I have no idea of it either. I just read somewhere that someone said he haid to pay around 4k to 6k just for the max 10 pounds you mentioned, and that it is possible to "go deeper", but that more risky and more expensive.
I mean, Amber will not lose any considerable weight, so thats the only chance for her. That or a long coma.

Even if a doc was willing to do lipo, she'd gain the 10# back damn near immediately. It wouldn't help.

I know she doesn't have it, but her legs always make me think of elephantiasis. There are definitely some poor souls out there with legs that strongly resemble hers, at least in pants.

Actually, she does have it. Elephantiasis is caused by a blocked lymphatic system, otherwise known as lymphedema. When it’s Stage 3, with pitting edema, it’s aka elephatiasis. Google the two words together, you’ll see.

Even skinny people can get lymphedema although it’s rare. In them, it’s often a side effect of cancer treatment where lymph nodes have to be removed. In Africa and other countries there is a worm/parasite that enters the lymphatic system and blocks it causing lymphedema, and I bet you were thinking of some National Geographic picture of normal people with one huge leg, like I was. Same disease, different cause.

Same outcome. Lymphedema can only be managed, not cured, and one way to manage is lose the weight.

What makes the bottoms of her feet flat? It really creeps me out that there is NO arch?

The tendon strap underneath her feet has given in under the weight.

She witters on about heel spurs but as usual she's talking bollocks. What she has is Plantar Fasciitis, where the large tendon that runs from the heel down the foot and maintains its tension has been stretched and damaged to oblivion.

PF is not uncommon, especially for runners or those who walk a lot on hard ground. It takes a long time to heal (the tendon actually develops micro tears) but does eventually do so.....IF you remove the precipitating cause. Big Albert has just added to the precipitating cause and I would take an educated guess that the damage to her feet is now permanent.

The next in this jolly little saga is that the immense forces will drive her bones through her feet. At this point, it's a toss up between her knees blowing due to massive torsional force as well (the bigger she gets the more her knees twist together - she doesn't even have a knee-gap, let alone thigh gap) or her feet bones ramming through.

Tl Dr - they're fucked. Al has expected her body to just deal with things no human body can and when bits fail she just tells herself a comforting lie. And has another 42 buns.

Are we talking Charcot here? Because that would suck for her, 3 month minimum of not using it after surgery if she can find someone to operate at her weight (not likely), meaning sitting still, meaning her weight will balloon faster.

Yep. Charcot Foot is usually either congenital deformity (uncorrected "rocker bottom" feet, which we'd not see in the west) or from MCT disease, but there is a very real chance she could develop it, especially if she does have beetus. And not only could nobody operate because she's too fat, there's no point.....because she's too fat.

She has absolutely destroyed the tendon strap - I've had PF for years from walking everywhere on hard roads and despite that my feet have greater integrity. It can't recover from that level of trauma, it's stretched to oblivion and she makes it worse every time she heaves herself onto her feet. And she's not doing anything to support it either - stupid blown-to-fuck shoes because she's a dainty gorl, no strapping, not even getting Becky to wrestle a compression bandage onto it.

And this is why she can't feel small things underfoot - I have no idea why "Twinkie's foods" (pair of slobs) were in the bedroom but she certainly didn't fall due to her uwu soft feet. The lies and obfuscation she just makes up are ridiculous; the simple fact is she has destroyed her feet irrepairably and won't face that uncomfortable fact. It can't get better now. But it can get a whole lot worse.

Just thought - it's another very strong proof she's lying about the doctor. No doctor is looking at those disaster areas and telling her she's healthy when, despite a life of utter sloth, she has an extreme form of over-use injury. The only thing she's ever over-used is her gob.

Charcot foot is co-morbid with diabetes, surprise, surprise. She has a huge risk to seriously lose a foot or a leg soon. Not even joking. She could have broken her foot or an ankle, not feel it and still walk and make shit worse. A simple broken bone combined with neuropathy due to sky high blood sugar and poor circulation is just asking for a necrotic foot. Her healing speed being worse than a diabetic grandma's she might not even recover from the amputation. It's pretty fucking sad to die because of a broken bone before 30, but gorl needs her orange chicken.

is that why one leg is bigger than the other? it's hard to tell since she wears the black pants and it's like a fun house mirror but one leg looks like it has an extra about 20-+ pounds on it. Since AL acknowledges one is bigger I think it's worse without the illusion of the slimming black yoga pants.

If you have any kind of edema it generally collects more on the left side. It has something or another to do with the left side of your heart not pumping efficiently. I'm clearly not a doctor.
