The only times he ever tried apologizing to Snyder were with the explicit goal of getting back into the Game Place. When Snyder refused to let him back in, he flipped him off and called him a Jew. When Chris hit him with the car and went to court, he declared that Snyder was a thieving liar who didn't deserve any money from him. As recently as 2017, he was still blaming Snyder for everything and refusing to accept responsibility for his behavior. So, yeah, it was all for show.

Kind of. Think of it like when a kid apologizes. They don't actually understand what they did wrong but will avoid repeating the behavior to avoid the same punishment. I'm still amazed at how much Chris has latched onto the MLP stuff. Sure, he liked it before FiM came out, but he was never so hung up and dependent on it. I know he's trying to say that the current show will go on forever, but I'm curious as to how he'll react to the next iteration. It'll probably drop his heart level back down to -15%.
