I'm not an FPS guy so I don't know any better but isn't the point of a team-deathmatch to stay close to your team-mates and work together?

Why is Dave running all over the map on the other side of the map all by himself?
Not in cod, in fact sticking close to your teammates can actually just make it easy for the other team to get a double/multi kill.

It's fucking weird because I was just reading your post while firing up the Phil restream and instantly he was blaming everyone being at home watching the superbowl for why the connections on CoD are so bad...? Because kids will be playing it while adults are watching the superbowl? I'm not sure if you can even call it mental gymnastics when even Phil can't land that conclusion he's leaping for.

but superbowl isnt even on for another 2 hrs? but ya, "parents streaming superbowl while kids are playing so connections are bad" like seriously, thats some self manipulation right there. especially when the shit aint even on.

phil really is such a fucking joke

I don’t get Phil. The only things he’s shown interest in today was his top tip/cheer being the same piglet and those kills he got with the Mantis. That’s what, 3 minutes out of about 2+ hours of gameplay where he wasn’t pissing and moaning? Why continue to play a game that you’re clearly not enjoying instead of swapping to something you’ll have fun with? He’s such an idiot.

What game would you suggest he swap to in order to have fun, cause as we have long established, his passion for gaming has receded even faster than his hairline. At this point he might as well intentionally play games that make him salty and angry - at least then he'd somewhat resemble his glory days and might even get more money from it.

My god, that was another extremely hostile and awkward stream. Towards the end he snapped at some dood in chat, saying it's their fault for watching him complain and whine for 5 hours straight, and that they should stop watching if they don't like it. Clip:

He's basically doing an "EA", where the chief designer of Battlefield 5 told people that if they don't like seeing women fighting at WW2 frontlines, they shouldn't buy the game. Well, we know how that turned out for them... (next to Battlefield in general getting shittier and shittier, obviously)

Well you could tell the guy was a dumb shit because he hadn't contributed enough money.

Well, regarding that subject... I'm referring to something (again) I posted back in December:

I think it'll be interesting to see how Phil's going to act once he hits the point where Twitch earnings won't be processed in time for when his April payment is due. If Twitch keeps the money for two months, that should be around/after the beginning of February.
At that point it doesn't matter how much Twitch makes him, and he'll be fully depending on tips, direct donations, Patreon and Youtube earnings. With Twitch being his biggest source of income, that should be interesting to watch.

Today he did a completely shameless mid-stream begging section, directly after thanking that mungo_mungo person for gifting 4 Tier 1 subs and 1 Tier 3 sub. Clip:

So yeah, he's really upping the pressure on his viewers to step it up before the end of February, and after that, the focus will be heavily on tipping. Even more so than usual.

Imagine how desperate he must be when the only thing he can think of is explaining when the deadline is for when subbing and cheering won't help him out for his tax payment in April, directly after literally being gifted 20+ dollars...

"I could be playing the Anthem today instead of this. But I'm playing this, even though I don't like it."
"There's no hype, especially among my viewer base. WE hate team based shooters, so there's no hype!"

Streaming a game he doesn't like, but he won't try a new release that might attract an audience because he doesn't like it. Please tip, Phil is working hard and he deserves success.

This is a high quality, professional streamer we've got here.

He'll play Anthem, even after he gave it a "maybe" on his flaccid year-in-preview. He'll have some lameass Blops or KH3 or Minecraft shit lined up for the day it drops and he'll kick that to the curb in the hopes of kindling some interest. He doomed himself just by insisting multiple times that he wouldn't play it.

Part Three of the Grand Unified Theory of Phil, or GUT: if he says he won't do something, it is likely he will at some point go back on his word. Corollary: the more often or the more vehemently he claims he will not do the thing, the greater the likelihood and the sooner he will reverse his position.
