Star Trek - Space: The Final Frontier

Sisko is without a doubt the best captain and people need to understand that.

Why don't people recognize this fact? Well, let's go ahead and address the elephant in the room, the big issue that prevents everyone from acknowledging how great he is. Yes, he's black, I get it. I also had a huge problem with this at first but I found a solution. Remember in the first episode it showed him being attacked on that starship where Jennifer died? I just pretend that he was burnt really badly during that attack. His skin isn't dark because he's black but because he's burned. If you make that part of your headcanon it makes it much easier to like him.

With that out of the way, let me explain why Sisko is the best captain. Remember that time Picard got fooled by the Romulans and made to look like a dumbass? Not only did Sisko never get fooled by the Romulans he himself fooled them and tricked them into joining a war on the Federation's side. It was pure subterfuge that Captain Picard (more like Captain Retard) could never dream of pulling off. He had a Romulan senator assassinated then pinned it on the Dominion holy shit! The Romulans made Picard their bitch and Sisko made the Romulans his bitch therefore Sisko ipso facto made Picard his bitch.

Remember that time Picard had an opportunity to wipe out the entire Borg and pussied out? LAME! Sisko would have been like Hell Yeah and defeated the Borg forever saving billions or even trillions of lives throughout the galaxy. Entire planets were destroyed and whole species of intelligent life wiped out because Picard was too much of a little faggot bitch boy to do what needed to be done. Never would have happened if Sisko was in command.

"Well, yeah, all of that is true but Sisko wasn't even a Captain at first just a commander! Checkmate!" Wrong. That's just yet another example of why Sisko is better. He didn't even want to be in Starfleet and was going to leave so they sent him to some backwater piece of shit space station to finish out the rest of his commission but he still ended up being the best captain ever!

Picard spent his entire life devoting himself to Starfleet but still managed to look like a loser compared to some random disgruntled slack-off sitting on his ass all day in Bajoran space.

I win, Sisko is is the best and I just proved it. Suck it down bitches.
Wait why is him being black a problem?

The acoustics in there must be interesting. Their heating bill is probably insane. Look at all those sharp edges: a little turbulence and somebody is going to get brained.

To be fair, Starfleet having no safety standards on their bridge is not exactly something unprecedented. I mean, their computers must be made of dynamite, the way they keep exploding and launching redshirts across the room. Lets also not forget the total lack of seatbelts!

Basically if you don't die because of misfortune you live to be a million years old like Bones, so they set up all Starfleet systems to immediately explode and kill you to thin out the population.

What I still don't get is why STD has to be so damn edgy. I get that everyone and their mother is trying to ape off of current day GoT, which looks like a miserable gray mess nowadays, but you could stick out so much more if you actually made the continuation (well, unnecessary prequel) of your famously positive franchise actually hopeful and you know, not edgy.
Because Star Trek is/was loved by white man so they attempted to ruin it except they fucked up so bad you can ignore it and nothing of value is lost. Is Saru still ruined or is he getting better? I don't get why SF Debris likes Tilly yet keeps mocking Saru? All she was in season 1 was a fat sperg who want to shut up while his character developed

Yeah we already said Sisko is the best, no need to repeat it.
So how does Kirk compares with Sisko?
I think they want to be like DS9 which was the edgy, unliked one in the beginning but has gone on to stand the test of time and proved itself to be a favorite.

But like all imitations it only copies the surface details of what made DS9 work and never grasps the soul or essence of the success.

It's literally cargo-culting we'll build the appearance of an airport without ever understanding the core underneath it all.
It reminds more of the edge and dumbass actions scenes of TNG especially Nemesis

Yep he created the nerve pinch and the vulcan salute.

Speaking about that, there was an interview on ComicBook(dot)com with Kurtzman saying that he learned from the mistakes made by DS9 and VOY and the second season would reflect that. According to him, the two shows looked the same.
Kurtzman is a dumb mf i see

Everything about that bridge speaks to a waste of space. From that tall ceiling, to those huge desk arms, the back-swept stations where important characters are manned - such a waste of space! It looks like the setup from a live electronic music show. If the bridge is only set up to man 5 people, why so cavernous? Why must they always put so little thought into everything?

Shouldn't augmentoid there tie her hair back so she can see what she's doing?

Such a terrible cast. With them being professional performers I was expecting at least they'd be able to sing well. How lame.
Will the Picard show have any nudity?
If any it wil not be female

Saru is still written terribly. Fun alien design, but the character itself is meh.

I'm on S3E8 of TNG and goddamn this whole story of Troi and the other negotiator is batshit. The 15 second shot of rubbing a foot was more bizarre than anything so far. This seems awful and there's still 20 minutes
The only good Troi episode is Face of the Enemy. I do enjoy the Lwaxana episodes though just because she's such a pain in the ass to everybody.

The only lasting effect that episode had was setting up a throwaway episode of Voyager.

Eminently skippable

With all this JJ Abrams and Discovery crap, I think a good "headcanon" idea is to think of Star Trek canon as it was in a particular year.

For example, don't like ENT? You could go with what Star Trek canon was before 2001. Don't like Voyager? You could go with what Star Trek canon was before 1995.

The latest episode was perfectly set up to give Saru his day to shine and save the ship, but on two occasions it's Michael who ends up piecing the solution together and presenting it. Would it kill the show to have anyone but her be at the centre of attention? Also, I know her actress has always been bad, but this time the character was going through a lot of heavy shit and she was just terrible.

The episode was also a poor man's The Inner Light. You know it to be true.

"You know what would get people to love Wesley? Make him a girl!"
"And black!"
