i literally just turned off my internet just to test this and i was able to turn on all the games installed without problems
you literally cannot even check basic facts before spewing something that was true one year ago

So a shit store that only offers free games where I can just get cheap elsewhere, tries to enter the market with tactics no one likes. Here's the only thing epic offers that's unique: Metro Exodus and some indie games I've never heard of. That's it. It has no features. It offers me nothing. It's a security liability and has to answer to not only investors but Chinese investors.

If you want to be stupid because of your blind hatred, irrational hatred for Steam that's your choice. This is America. You can be a retar.d and use a platform with major security risks owned 50% by a foreign government that is inferior in every way to not just Steam, but nearly all launchers on the market. In America you have the right to be a fucking moron.

Got anything to back it up? Like you know screenshots? A quick video? Would help your argument more than just typing "I just tested it!", by that logic I can type something like "I just launched the Epic Launcher and it melted my PC!!"

Why would anyone lie about something so easily verifiable? I launch the game, I close the launcher, it works. I tried launching Edith Finch too without even opening the launcher, it throws up a fake "the game crashed" screen then it just goes on as normal lol.

Also, just to settle that point, can you close (i.e. actually stop, not just "minimize to tray") the Epic launcher, unplug your network cable, start the Epic launcher again and successfully launch and play any of the games you've got installed, all without an internet connection? Because you can do that with Steam.

You can also just run directly from the directory with many titles.
