Doubtful. The case will likely be settled outside the court. Funimation knows full well that their VA fucked them over and will likely give Vic a fuckton of cash or allow Vic to wrap up his contracted roles (and then dismiss him like Rooster Teeth did).

Funimation hasn't kept their mouths shut at all and their VAs and even some of their management has been screaming the house down to be believed for realsies.

Rooster Teeth (owned by AT&T after a few degrees of separation) has a lot of old school PR managers in the system and simply issued a bland statement they were parting ways. This is during the down time between RWBY seasons and so can be done with little to no recourse and blowback. A good chunk of their VAs in RWBY hold other actual roles inside the company, not just VA roles, so will have different contracts to that of VA's like Jessica Nigiri or Vic. So far as I am aware fucking nobody from there has said a damn word.

How is it the production company that got its start making fart jokes using voice overs of a Halo multiplayer arena map is the smart one in this story. We will never know. What we do know now if Shane is to be believed is that not only was there a legal conspiracy to destroy Vic, but that the conventions were involved and that the conspiracy is ongoing. Who was in that Discord chat Shane?! Care to tell us? Maybe we should write a subpoena and send it to Discord.

if its not furry porn or alt right shit discord dosn't care and even then in the case of the former it's due to the fact that they defend them viciously.
 
The irony of these idiots who think court is like Ace Attorney is that most of them act like the type of people that would be the ones cross examined, doesn’t help Vic’s lawyer is named Vic (a nickname for Phoenix in the games.)

Just so everyone stops falling down or falling for that #kickvic talking point. Texas “Right to Work/At Will” Law only applies to employees and contractors that do not work under individual, clearly defined contracts. Credited Actors always work under individual, incredibly defined contracts. For each project or production. So the contract is the important point. Employment law doesn’t apply, it will be all contracts law concerning any contracts in effect.

Rooster Teeth parted ways between contract renewals. They likely do not have any lawsuit exposure. Although they are a clear example of the Loss of Presumptive Business. And illustrate damages. Funimation fired Vic mid contract and publicly defamed him while doing so, resulting in the loss of business from Rooster Teeth and the Cons. So what Rooster Teeth did will factor into damages against the coconspiritorial harpies and Funimation.

Because those even worst rapists aren’t openly Christian, and will endorse their gay shit. Vic was blasted for being an “undesirable” in these clowns eyes. The rapists and pedopervs not so much. They may be pedophiles, but they are appropriately progressive pedophiles.

it's also noteworthy that when he got caught,both Sentai and Funimation didn't make any public statement about no longer wanting to work with him like they did to Scott Freeman and now Vic,they just quietly stopped calling him for work.
