Verlis was triggered because Weedle makes fun of him constantly in his videos. The pedo accusation was a desperate straw-clutch to try to turn public opinion against Weedle. Unfortunately, Pokemon fans know Verlisnis a histrionic sperg, and Weedle has just ridiculed him even more.

And yes, Verlis is not very good at the game. He comes up with meme strategies that work against Japanese kids with ubers teams online, but his skill at the actual game is mediocre at best.
 
There's plenty of reasons why I hate this response. Like some people said, it's extremely disrespectful to blame something on a tragedy. Another thing to mention is, you could have easily done this online (which is what you do with Pokemon almost all the time.) Smash Bros. is not local only but it seems like he wanted fame or something (like the Make a Wish thing?) He also mentions Shofu is a "Low-Mid tier competitive playerhaving (sic) this much influence and and negativity behind him" when the game has not been out for even two weeks. Kids, don't ever try to believe people on the internet about what's meta or not until after a good half year or longer because I sure as hell remember when people said Ike was the best character in Brawl and when people said Chrom was gonna be crap in Ultimate because "bad recovery."

Verlisify is straight up using Ultimate for views. It's not even funny at all that it's obvious that since Let's Go's content can't be maximized for profit, err milked, I mean further made due to its immense scarcity of possible videos, he's decided to go to "greener" pastures in the form of the next big Nintendo game.

what can he even say that people like Alpharad or VGDunkey, or hell, even himself, hasn't been said yet? He's already tried milking the game prior to release, and that seems to have failed. I'm hoping the Shofu situation puts some sort of sense into the idiot, but he's too hardheaded to learn from it...

For those who don't know, Matpat screwed up recently by not properly promoting a game that he said he wanted to promote, got the game producers' name wrong, and advertised the game to be the next Undertale Game.

Since then, people got onto Matpat... AND VERLISIFY IS ONE OF THEM.

So, have fun with that.

As a /vp/ pokeautist myself, I can say that verlis is unironically worse at pokemon than a 6th grader.

Also, I don't know if this has been brought up yet, but verlisify is notorious for making fun of people for liking the smogon competitive system. If you play smogon, he treats you like a short bus kid.

Say what you will about Smogon movesets, but for the most part they're good baselines to work off of, especially if you're new to the whole EV/IV thing. They're designed to maximize the natural abilities available to the Pokemon- and while they may not always be unique and unpredictable, they're as effective as you can get with some Pokemon. For someone who considers himself a master player, he certainly doesn't seem to care about what works and what doesn't.

Tldr: say whatever about Smogon, but you're better off learning from them than Verlisify.

Looks like babbys first confrontation with Verlisify. Everything they said in this video is something that has been said countless times already.
Verlis is a lolcow that can only be milked for recycled milk, and it got pretty stale mid 2015.
That being said, how far did you manage to ladder on pokemonshowdown with AV Rain Dance Goodra?
 

Verlisify says that he was suspended over a single tweet, however, I don't believe that, then calls who is against him "Gen Z children who are oversensitive."

He also says he never said for anyone to kill themselves and, like clockwork that he is hated for no reason.
