There's an extraordinary amount of time, money and effort being spent by capable adults on what amounts to a potted plant.
That's being awfully generous. At least potted plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen.

It's kinda shitty but normal people roll the dice on their children's lives like that literally all the time. The genome thing they did confirmed that yes, 25% chance of potato. So Gwen knew that the next potato had a chance of being Lola'd.

she dressed Lola up as a fucking lobster.
When she was dying.
What exactly does she think CBD oil does? I agree that it wont help Lola, but even if it somehow miraculously did help with her seizures, it isn't going to halt the progress of her degenerative condition . It's not going to replace the Asparagine synthetase that she doesnt produce. It's not going to help her grow a normal brain or regrow the brain matter that she's been losing for the last 12 years. Lola was out of options the moment she was conceived. She's doomed and I think Gwen knows it. All these theatrics are just more of her usual delusion, denial and attention seeking.Sorry, but Lola just shoved aside like a damn purse is too perfect.
Also save Lola? SAVE? Save her? Fuck off Gwen. Weed cannot save her. What the fuck is this bitch even talking about?
It's not even going to help her.
Poor Cal, he probably actually believes her that this will save his sister's life or at least stop her pain. I always felt bad for Cal in pictures where the potatoes are forced in but man, this picture hits me about as hard as that letter her had to write years agoKansas resident: “Hello, senator? Claire was "watching over and guiding every single person in that room"? Yeah, right.
I hope she takes lots of pics of her dying daughter toking up and posts about what a sassy pothead she is.
I bet there are a lot of relevant scenes from stoner movies she could pose her in. Maybe get that what's his name other kid slave she has to pose in it too.
One could suggest that Claire is already a member of the "Grateful Dead"
I'll see myself out
Even if it's not as severe now, Asparagine Synthetase Deficiency is always progressive from what I can tell, so there's still the chance that Juleyana could turn into another potato. Her mother's instagram is still active and she posted something fairly recently, March 9th I believe. It's hard to tell exactly how Jules is doing from just a photo and given past experiences, I usually don't completely trust when the parents of these kids boast about their kids awesome achievements. However, it is pretty obvious that she's definitely in much better condition than the Hartley girls ever were. Even Claire in her youngest and most healthy appearing times, never seemed as normal looking as this girl. I notice that Jules also doesn't seem to be as bad as the other kids in the studies who have ASD. All of them had very obvious microcephaly from birth, while even a few years on, it's hard to tell that Jules's head size is abnormal.
I know that like many disorders, this one probably falls on a spectrum , but she appears so different than any other the other ASD children , that it's almost like she has another condition entirely.
I suppose it's possible maybe that there are others like her with milder versions of ASD, but since it's still fairly newly discovered, perhaps doctors u dont suspect it in other kids with mild forms and so don't test for it and dont diagnose it. Either that or she just got lucky, comparatively speaking or maybe she was misdiagnosed and actually has something else. Whatever the case, it's all quite fascinating.
