no. no they won't be. I said it before but Toei is autistic with its defense of their IP to the point that I'm shocked that sabat let this happen. I would not be surprised to hear he's pulled out of the con not because he intends to fuck it over, but because he's fleeing the country and going somewhere where IP matters less than toilet paper.

If Sabat had cancelled for that day, I could have understood. There are times where voice-over sessions are last-minute. I think Eric Vale has mentioned this a long time ago, and said it was Sabat that was hosting auditions at the time.
But he cancelled the whole weekend, which is weird. I don't understand that. Especially when you knew you had a studio tour that weekend and people overpaid you for you to do said tour.
On top of that, many Funimation voice actors are going to be at the convention. What would Sabat be doing?
Does it even matter at this point? We've got so many people invited to the convention after Vic was invited back.

I'm honestly relieved that I can meme, I'd hate to be mistaken for one of them!
Edit: Also, notice that the #stand side made their patches a positive perception, they created something that would make poeple who get it giggle or smile. The Bulma patch outright has #kickvic on it - a negative impression.

Someone should introduce this moron to the legal principle of “falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus”. Everyone has already seen the Civil Conspiracy known as Kickvic generate fake evidence. Several notable instances of it. Including statements and evidence produced by Shame here. So under oath the BHBH Amazons are going to drill down on all of this. Forcing conflicts and revealing lies. But that faked evidence means the Judge and Jury May, and often will, discount everything they bring to the table that isn’t physical evidence. And even then will be questioned since so much of their flackery has involved out of context photos and videos.
Why do these morons think shouting any of this in public benefits them? Shane has openly claimed or admitted to being part of the behind the scenes conspiracy with the cons. He completely fails to grasp that the cons talking to each other about banning a business partner is fucking incredibly illegal. It’s a Federal pound me in the ass type violation. It’s monopoly behavior. Sherman Act violations. It’s nasty stuff as it can have severe consequences. Both civil and criminal. It doesn’t matter if Shane has some “victim” claiming first hand knowledge. Or even a police report. Because the Cons are separate business entities. Sharing that info amongst separate and competing business entities is collusion to deny a business or subcontractor work. And yeah, technically it happens all the time. But the trick is don’t get caught and don’t leave a fucking permanent digital record.
I wonder if they are filing suit for Todd the same day? Also I think Sabat is in jeopardy. Iago got moved to first round. Marzgurl has less jurisdictional hurdles then most. Not as easy as Shane or the VA’s. But I think she would accept Texas jurisdiction over the shear costs of trying to force things to Federal. Plus jurisdiction doesn’t protect her from discovery and deposition. She would not be the problem that ANN would be.
