In short, yes. Because it shows some level of the conspiracy and interference in Vic's business. At least by my understanding and the legal eagles we have lurking around will correct me if I am wrong.

As a result of Rial, Soye etc damaging his reputation and name in order to ruin his ability to conduct business. Proof of that is the fact many conventions have pulled him on the basis of the Funimation Rumour Mill starting up and then expanded upon by the likes of their "rogue" VAs making highly public statements.

A lot of these con organisers are chicken shit as we've seen with Kamehacon or "Risk adverse" as the shitty parlance newspeak calls it, so will pull to be on the safe side on the mere basis of rumours rather than any truth and permit those loud voices to walk all over them while they piss and shit right on their carpet.

However, so far those that have continued to keep him as a guest seem to be working dividends even if he has to be "fenced away" from the other VAs. Anime Matsuri stopped most talk against them by telling people to get fucked, as has Bubba Fest and both seem to be cashing in on standing up to the bullies.

Fixed.

There are two related but separate torts here. Tortious interference with contract applies where there is an actual contract, whether it's in writing, a verbal agreement, or even an implied agreement to contract further.

There's also tortious interference with prospective business relationship, which is interference with things that are not explicit contract but which would otherwise be expected to occur.

Then there's general and specific damages from defamation, which cover everything else (or whatever else BHBH has come up with for the complaint as there is other stuff a creative plaintiff counsel could claim).

There are three general tranches of civil liability here, and for Vic simply not to prevail would require every defendant to dodge all three somehow. That's some Matrix style bullet dancing and these people are fucking fat.

There's also civil conspiracy. Maybe that can't be proven but if it is, everyone involved is on the hook for every single bit of damage everyone else did if they committed even a single overt act, so good luck to the dumb motherfuckers who own houses and recording studios and things like this who willingly made themselves liable for whatever low rent losers like Whalefamous and Shane, who will never be able to pay a dime in damages, did.

The assumption is Toei is aware what's been going on with Vic, and since he's their choice, Toei is not going to be holding back anymore. They pulled rank on Sabat over his tour, he got pissy and cancelled, and either him or KC held off till last minute. Meanwhile, again assumption, Papa Toei told Ryo to BTFO from KC.

Wouldn't you be in their position, with as big a franchise as Dragonball? It is curious some of the things they DO allow though.

All Toei may know is bad shit has done down and directly involves their IP and some crazy people are even claiming the con is physically dangerous. They also know they've been lied to by Funimation at this point because they don't get blindsided by this without Funimation letting its dangerhair terrorists go completely on a rampage without telling them.

Ahhh. So more extortion. Its still shocking too me how patronizing these people are. If "the fans" don't want someone to show up, they won't go to their booth and buy their shit. Which means the Con will have to pay out the guaranteed minimum, costing them money and insuring that person won't be invited back again. Everything I have seen about these conventions is that they are a pure expression of the market determining what is popular rather then some self absorbed moral busy bodies sniffing their own farts.

This is why you have to drop the Geek Social Fallacies and treat these people as utter fucking cancer the moment they show up in your scene, because once they metastasize, it takes heroic measures to remove them again. Or your community just flat out dies.

There he is :feels: (I notice Goku is on his poster. Eat dirt Sean)

Lol, there is a queue of 10 people and all the others are just looking at comics.

They have more people in their "security" detail than their line, and despite that, not a single person capable of doing actual security. One angry Texan could scatter their entire security team of soy boys and cucks like tenpins with a single haymaker.

I don't think anyone involved in this round will be physically capable of swinging again later, I meant other people who get the idea to do it will almost certainly be halted by the legal destruction he seems to be about to rain down on these current people. And if he succeeds in forcing retractions this time and reveals it's a conspiracy built on lies, it becomes much harder to convince people a second time. It's like fighting off a sickness or infection. If it doesn't kill you the first time, you're more resistant to it the next time - in some cases even immune.

Yeah there are some very exceptional people on KickVic

I guess I'm missing it, I don't see any security in those photos of the shop.

Because it's literally Ron outside covered in sunscreen.

And nothing else.

In all seriousness, how pathetic is that? Vic's line is being shut down because it's too popular and posing a fucking fire risk if it gets too long. Meanwhile, these assholes who caused all this headache get 15 people in line and piss off the Pokemon TCG autists that also turn up.

Imagine anyone unfamiliar with this shit simply asking why the fuck these people are here, and are told there's a convention nearly 20 miles away. Imagine trying to get an intelligible response to the simple question well why the fuck aren't you there then? Why are you here?

Oh hey, a Big Bang Theory Joke made funny:

"Why are you in my spot?"

"Because of a rapist."

"Yes, but you're in my spot."

"Don't you want me to be safe?"

"I do, I want everyone to be safe. Just not in my spot. I'm here to play Pokemon Trading Card Game. In. My. Spot."

I mean, when shit takes longer than a sentence to explain to people you're gunna lose them.
