Has Chris kept up with the Pokemon games over the years? Tranferring the Blaziken through each generation and getting all the ribbons you can in each game seems like way too much effort for him.
As far as Platinum goes, there's 25 or so from the pageants, 7 for each day of the week, 3 very expensive ones, 1 from the footsteps guy and another from becoming the champion. The rest that I know of involves the Battle Frontier, which takes brains.
