Summary: This guy, Rickey Watkins II, is an Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR) Engineer for Funimation Studios and he worked on DragonBall Super: Broly. He's at Kameha Con; he had a panel yesterday and has another panel this afternoon. During his panel yesterday, Vic was in the audience, and he told Rickey to stop by afterward to say hello. So Rickey and his fiancee went up to the top floor where Vic was, and he saw the line was really long, so they walked around to the front of the line. Vic spotted them, stepped out and gave him a hug, then Vic said he was going to embarrass Rickey real quick. So Vic got everybody's attention, and called out to the whole room, "This is Rickey Watkins, the greatest engineer at Funimation", and said when they see him, give him some love. Rickey and his fiancee were shocked at how epic it was. Vic gave Rickey a custom poster and signed it for him. Afterward Rickey went downstairs and bought a giant Broly statue which he's hoping to get Vic to sign today. His panel today is at 3:00 in Panel Room 5 and he'll be talking about audio engineering and the work that he did on Broly, so if you're at Kameha Con today, he says to stop by to say hi and take a picture with him.

Oh, these sad little girls. What sort sort of cosseting or brain damage is necessary to think a civil conspiracy and defamation lawsuit is no big deal. Like lol Judge Judy settles that shit in minutes, right? That one time they went to traffic court was easy breezy so this will be over in an hour, a day tops? Most adults feel queasy at the very thought of being sued for any reason. Even small claims court can be a clusterfuck. But who are we to counter the worldly sages on PULL? As someone has said already, yes, at first Vic was going to have his own floor for security reasons and to keep him away from the other VAs just in case, but the motivation changed once they saw just how many people were going to see Vic, and they knew that if they put him with the rest of the VAs, it would be so packed up it would be impossible to be there. And that's why Vic got a whole floor just for him and Sabat got the corner near the bathrooms.

Without a doubt. Plus, Ty is a smart man that also has a firm to run. He knows those papers in Nick's hand equals more resources (GFM) to him with fighting this case. Unless company/companies settle, and people flip; most of that is going into his firm.

Waid did a whole bunch of stupid shit, but one thing i will give him credit for is deactivating his social media accounts after being told that what he did and bragged about was very likely actionable. He came sniveling back to social media ~6 months later, after he thought he was in the clear from any lawsuit as no papers had been filed at the time.
Ty mentioned last night that Vic was moved for 'security concerns'. Personally I think there were some 'he'll molest everyone' concerns voiced, but the majority of the concerns were for Vic's safety as the KickVic side has shown to be utter nutjobs. Ty may have even asked for this to prevent any attempts of gay ops being performed against his client e.g. see the patrolled thot. Ty also mentioned that Vic and his fans got the way better deal which can be seen in the Sabat vs Vic line comparison photos.
