I think most companies don’t typically reveal that people that worked with them were into some creepy stuff unless some kind of news story breaks. I feel like the fact they cut immediate contact and work with the guy shows they didn’t support what he did.

I’m not defending RT for letting Vic go, but to go from that to “they put a hit out on him” seems like an enormous reach. I’m willing to give RT more of the benefit of the doubt since they didn’t go screaming on Twitter like idiots about the whole thing like Funi did, save for a couple of people. They’re definitely the more professional out of the two companies.
They totally were...right before guys like Shannon and other big names in RT opened their big mouths on twitter

Lawsuits are fucking expensive.
Or the LOLsuit that stared Nick's channel, that cost Dick $25-30k and i can't even remember if he had to show up to court. IIRC the initial pleadings in that case couldn't even attribute any specific thing to Dick either, only 'fans of TDS'. Ron's got 400 personal tweets...
We know Ty Beard is hitting Toye for over 400 individual defamatory tweets. Each and every one of them will have to be examined and defended by Toye's lawyer. At a rate of likely $500/hr. $50,000 won't even begin to cover it. And who's gonna toss crowdfunding funds at Soy Toye? He's nobody! He's just some asshole who doesn't know when to shut up on twitter. And neither Vic nor Ty Beard have any particular reason or incling to be merciful with this fucker considering what he has tried to pull on both of them.
If rumour about what he attempted using the Tuttle name is true, then he's also likely out of a job once they get deposed.

Nick got another ethics complaint. Let's see which idiot doxed themselves

$39k actually and he still hasn't paid it off from what I heard in the last few podcasts.

Japanese companies do not understand the American market. Nintendo is exhibit A in this respect. The Japanese branch of Nintendo set down a bunch of crazy directives such as not allowing live streaming and independent review publication of their content. It took intense pressure from Nintendo of America to explain the facts of life about how Americans treat cultural products to get them to do the right thing.

In many respects though Nintendos hard Japanese corporate traditionalism has saved them from the worst of it. Most Japanese multi nationals like Sony hire US based marketing firms to advise them on how to position their products for the American market. Not east coast firms though. The extra 5 hours flight time to have in person meetings is too much. They hire west coast marketing firms. California based marketing firms. Which are staffed by liberal arts majors out of he University of California system.

And what do you think the "people" in these firms tell Japan is what is hip and required to sell the American cultural market? Pro tip, not to any culture outside upper middle class San Francisco and Los Angeles. But to the people in these marketing and consulting companies that culture and opinion is sacred and the culture/economic demands of the hicks in literally everywhere else in America are irrelevant.

Japan is getting bad info from the west coast Reeeeee brigade.

That's fair to say, but even without the West Coast REEEEEvengers making a fuss internally, Japan wouldn't need the westerners pushing them around, because they as a country are kinda cucked in their own right because they care about their image so much.
I'm sure I don't need to talk about how EVERY Japanese SJW will argue how "in (insert country here) men act more cordially (subservient) to wahmen", but the truth is, a lot of Japanese people are way more than curious about how a foreigner sees them/the country. Hell, if you come to Japan and start chatting with a local, I can gurantee they'd start asking about how do you like Japan (or some shit down the line), and if you say you like it, they'll radiate some level of pride as if THEY'RE solely responsible for you having a decent time. Not to mention the sheer ubandance of shows centering on foreign tourists spending time and going "Japan is the best!" or whatever. So if the west is going on a crusade to censor tits from games and anime, my guess is that they would've eventually caved in without big bad America-sempai telling them what to do. Of course, seeing as they literally only have anime and manga as their main export, it won't be happening in a hurry, but… just sayin'.

TL;DR: Japan cares about their public image so much, that they'll just cuck themselves if it's "cool" to do it.

Can you explain a little more? I’ve heard about self-censorship in a few cases, but nothing super drastic about said companies.

There isn't a lot going on drastically concerning big companies yet. Sony's probably the most cucked out of them all so far. However, there have been instances of feminazis screeching over "regional Moe-charas" (basically a moe girl with elements of what that region is famous for) to be taken down, and the Mie prefecture's Megu Aoshima got took down because of "protests from active members of the women shell-diving community" because the character was "too sexualized" and it hurt their pride (though with the industry itself dying out I doubt any of those diving grannies knew jack shit about the debacle in the first place). As I said, the changes are subtle, but if this kind of mentality grows, it's highly possible Japan may completely censor its anime in the future.

The problem is the only people who ever believe this, before it’s too late, are lawyers.

Most people actually see reason when it's explained to them by an expert they're paying. This is why most lawsuits settle. Some people need a more savage beating than others before they see reason, though.

Except they skipped an important step since a minor was involved in the Dreger situation.
They did not involve the police more, something Fragger regrets did not happen.

In regards to Vic, would RT have involved the police if there was plausible evidence?
Not sure, they had sufficient evidence of Dreger's misdeeds and Dreger returned home in Canada.

It's not just Japan. It's really any major company. The post modern activists went after marketing and consulting firms hard in the early 00s. The entire marketing industry and its attached sales consulting and human resources management industries are absolutely infested with far left activists pumped out of indoctrination institutions of "higher learning" with "degrees" in communication art, sociology and ethnic studies. The latter sold as a way to reach out to new markets. All total lies and bullshit with the only result being men's razor blade advertisements calling out toxic masculinity.

Businesses be they American or Asian want to make money. But they rely heavily on marketing and social influencing for the pursuit of that money. It was a critical flaw in their otherwise dispassionate and uncaring corporate wall and it was a weakness the far left activists deliberately and ruthlessly exploited. Starting with Jesse Jacksons race hustling shenanigans in the 1990s and escalating ever more from there

like when barb ran over michael snyder and spent everything to get what a public defender could have told her

all that q-sands and goodwill crap she missed out on...

I mean, that sounds like a pretty average thing for someone who likes their country to do. Seem like a big jump to assume they'll just become subservient to the Social Justice overlords just because of that. But, you never know, I guess.
