At least the pepper spray was just as tarded as Chris and did not seem to effect the poor guy too badly, nor any of the unlucky customers nearby.

Virginia just had a high-profile case of a transwoman being put into a male prison while still transitioning. I believe the outcome was that she remained in a male prison prior to surgery, was allowed to leave to get surgery, and the plan was then to move her to a women's prison afterwards but things happened and the upshot was that she made parole and the whole point was moot.
Tl;dr: if that's Chris' plan, he'd best be prepared to commit.

Well I guess I was wrong about the Pepper spray. Is the employee okay?? Because with his criminal record (and this being under similar circumstances to the Snyder incident) he could be completely fucked if the guy takes him to court.

He's a dick for a lot of reasons.
That said yes, having it confirmed as pepper spray makes things a lot worse than perfume and the person is fully in their rights to have him charged with assault because Chris attacked them without (real, legitimate) provocation.
If Chris gets away with it once he'll do it over and over again. That's his MO.

This is Rumor Control. Here are the facts. This is what we know.....
As of 8:35PM Saturday, December 27th:
1. The guy who got sprayed is doing OK. No blindness or lasting injuries. The store is still in operation and wasn't shut down.
2. Still no word if he may press charges.
3 . Chris is so very, very, veryveryveryveryvery BANNED from all Gamestop locations across the Planet Earth.

I wouldn't blame the employee if he doesn't want to bother with pressing charges. Court date(s), possible missed work, time wasted with nothing to really gain unless he later pursues a separate civil suit. I hope he does, though. There's no reason anyone should be allowed to go around brazenly committing assault as he pleases, especially over something so silly. Chris is a public menace at this point and a danger to himself and others.

The bit I'm looking forward to most, as others have said, is seeing how Chris tries to spin this.
Normally with things like this we hear his story first and the truth comes out afterwards. This is a rare case of us seeing the real thing first and still waiting to see the spin/lie. I'm curious whether he'll embellish it or whether it'll be like the house tour videos where he lied about how much housework he did with the hope that the person he was talking to hadn't seen the evidence yet.

My guess would be that it's another aspect of Chris's cargo-cult femininity combined with his eternal paranoia. In Chris's mind, half the world is stupid, cruel JERKS who want to ruin his day and his dreams; in the olden days, he might have considered himself adequately protected by his pocket knife, fangs, and/or STRENGTH!!, but as a beautiful lesbian-souled intersex tranny boygirl (... or something...), he needs a properly pretty, feminine weapon. If it really is pepper spray, I think the poster who mentioned the cheap "Hot Pink" brand carried at CVS is probably right on -- something cheap, obnoxiously hyper-girly, and impulse-purchasable seems right up Chris's alley.

I'm not a law-talking guy or anything, but I'm pretty sure there isn't a jurisdiction in this country that wouldn't treat spraying someone with an unknown liquid as some kind of criminal offense.

Wow, just wow. I thought 2013 was the beginning of the end of Chris Chan and that he would probably just live his days out being a welfare hog and become a recluse with the occasional visit from a government hired handler. Yet 2014 has become pretty much the most significant year in the Chris Chan saga since 2009. And the most amusing part is that unlike 2009 where all the happenings were pretty much the doings of trolls taking advantage of Chris being a naive fucking idiot, 2014 is almost entirely Chris doing this to himself. Its fascinating. Can you imagine if youtube partnership became more available in 2009 and Chris was more aware of it? He could have potentially became a 6 figure web sensation. Now we probably are witnessing his last year or so as a man free from being institutionalized and/or arrested. You couldn't script Chris's life no matter how hard you tried.
