Update:

A friend of mine called the Gamestop in question (cuz he's a total ween) and relayed some info he was able to obtain:

1. It was the Gamestop @ Fashion Square Mall in Charlottesville.

2. The substance that Chris sprayed IS pepper-spray. Not perfume.

3. The Jerkops were called.

4. The other local Gamestops in the area were immediately notified by this Gamestop in order to keep an eye out for Chris coming into their own stores to vandalize/assault.

5. The sprayed employee hasn't yet decided whether to press charges at this time.

Goddamnit it, Chris!
I was reading this thread going, "Pleasedon'tbemace! Pleasedon'tbemace! Pleasedon'tbemace! Pleasedon'tbemace! OH FUCK!"

Good catch-- I didn't notice that. The guy who posted the video certainly did know who Chris was.

Still, the language of the post is ambiguous. It could be that the employees recognized Chris right away and that the instant he set foot in the door, they told him he was violating an existing ban. It could also be that they didn't recognize him (due to employee turnover), they left him alone, and only when he started screwing with the Sonic Boom boxes did they ban him, at which time the video starts and Chris walks out of the store and sprays the employee.
That is true, but "ban" heavily implies a formality and a time frame (if not permanent). I imagine they would have said to "get him out of here" or "kick him out" or something that sounded more like an on-the-spot decision if it were said on a whim.

Sorry to be a loser but I called my brother on duty (cop in Delmarva area) to show him the video. He called a friend who is a trooper across the border in VA to find out what they would charge him with:

If Chris used pepper spray he will be charged with "felony assault".
If it was perfume or other unknown liquid "Second degree assault".

I don't know if the ween stuff that we got from people calling the GameStop is reliable..

I can attest to the TRUE AND HONEST content provided, since I was in the room listening in during the phone conversations.

It's only a regional ban. Ricardo can still freely shop in the 2 or 3 stores that exist in Spain

Nope. The Gamestop manager conformed that this was a planet-wide ban. All that needs to happen now is for the letter on official Gamestop stationery with letterhead to be sent off in the mail but fas of right now, Chris is absolutely Verbotten to set foot on any Gamestop store property anywhere or face immediate charges of Criminal Trespass.

Laws vary by state of course, but in my other state than his trespassing a person works like this afaik:
First time you call the cops and tell them you need the person "trespassed" and a few other magic words. Cops tell person to gtfo and run some paperwork to get the person on file.
Second time you call the cops and tell them he's back and then it's a thing they can run him in for.

Regardless of the target, intentionally discharging pepper spray indoors is a crime in a lot of states.

Most major companies require a police report be filed in the event that anything close to a violent crime occurs in the store.

I know that anywhere I worked, this would be absolutely be reported at the very least to higher-ups. Though the Gamestop guys kind of look like they're amused, if this video is seen by upper-level managers, it could mean trouble for Chris. At the very least a permaban if Gamestop is feeling proactive. Of course, since we live in CWCville, Chris will likely experience no repercussions.

EDIT: Just read the posts above and below. This is gonna be good.

I just called the Gamerstop and had a short conversation with someone working there. The basics of what I learned was that Chris was being very violent, police were called and Chris is being charged with assault and battery. I can give more details and answer questions.

The one @ Fashion Square Mall was pretty tight-lipped, but one of the nearby Gamestops (Chris is notorious to all the Gamestops there) and he was simply asked basic questions like "Is the guy who got sprayed OK?" and "Were the cops called?". When my friend called the FSM Gamestop, the manager there at first tried to deny anything had happened, and then after being told that one of the local Gamestops mentioned that it happened there, all he would do was verify the stuff I passed on and said "refer any other questions to the Charlottesville Police Department" and hung up.

MY own personal conclusions: Chris was visited by the cops because of this, but wont likely go to jail (unless he throws another fit like he did during his Halloween Adventure). At most he might get a citation and a fine to pay, and be told in no uncertain terms to stay the f*ck out of any Gamestop store on Earth. If Chris is smart, he'll stay awa......oh who the Hell am I kidding?

This seems like a pretty solid inference to draw in light of the fact that he hasn't mentioned it on Facebook yet. Usually he's more than happy to brag about striking a blow against the Blue-Armed Impostor, be it at Target, Sega's Facebook page, or wherever else, but not a word about this so far. A visit from the police (with some nonspecific threats about potential criminal sanctions) might be enough to spook him into shutting the hell up, just this once.

He might be charged with assault and battery, so he could be going to jail.

"Chris Chan possibly facing prison time for vandalism of Sonic the Hedgehog display." Imagine the stories of liquor store robbers and insurance frauds being held up against a conviction like that.

If Chris hasn't blabbed onto Facebook yet, it could mean one of several reasons:

-- Chris DID get taken to jail (not probable, but still remotely possible)
-- Chris is too rattled to post just yet (as soon as he can perform the right mental gymnastics to claim HE was the victim and he was simply defending himself)
-- Chris is getting his ass verbally torn open by Barb's screaming at him right now for being such a Chowderhead so soon after their Probations expired.
-- Barb cut down the Internet for the night
