Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

I'm kinda surprised that there isn't one person on the other side that's like, "Look I'm on your side but this is serious. If I was you I'd shut my mouth."
Well, they could say that OR they could tweet out some lukewarm tweet of "support" and spill the beans to Ty and Nick in order to remove a number of large competitors from the scene. Very early in the thread people were disappointed that Jubyphonic (Juliet Simmons), Amalee (Amanda Lee) and Cristina Vee tweeted out some very vague, lukewarm statements of support. Notice how all of them never had anything more to say on this? ?

Take a look at their credits:

Amalee's VA career is just beginning to take off. Take note of who she works for. That's right, it's Funimation.

https://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Juliet-Simmons/
A favorite of Sentai Filmworks, she's done 46 shows since she got her first big gig in 2013.

Her career kicked off a decade ago, and she's found most of her success in video games.

Compare their credits to Rial's and ask yourself one question: If you were watching one of your largest competitors maliciously commit career and financial suicide, would you stop them? And that's just Rial for example. Think about Schemmel and Sabat. If you were one of their "friends" in this industry, and you weren't directly involved in this disaster, it would actually be in your financial interest to let them minecraft their future.

Why TRO when you can make him pay for each Tweet come the end?
Why TRO when you can prove civil conspiracy and make Funimation pay for each of Ron's tweets come the end? Unlike the broke ass SJW's, Funimation can't dodge collections.

These people fundamentally don't understand what real professional lawyer ethics actually are. They think it's something like Twitter's TOS. It is not. The real world is not a hugbox.
Nah, clearly the problem is they just haven't lodged ENOUGH bar complaints! If they send 5 more, Ty and Nick get disbarred, and they get a free starbucks!

EDIT:
Hey Cap, can you get this to Nik? I think he might be interested

159,000 texts? Am I reading that right? I'm not sure this connects to the Vic case.

If that's true, and he reads this, I apologize. I merely came across it while running a Twitter search with the string of "Elon Musk Vic." I also know some people here were laughing at his commission thing earlier.

I wanted to know if there has been a chimpout (oddly enough, I haven't seen a Twitter chimpout about Haberkorn's stunt last night... yet).
Yeah i think its weird that none of the hatemob have reee'd about it.

Does anyone think Elon changing his icon possibly have to do with Vic or was it just crazy timing?
I mean it's a HELL of a time for Elon to randomly change his icon to a anime character specifically voiced by the dangerhairs biggest target for recently filing a huge lawsuit right now. It's possible it was just random happenstance but damn that timing is nuts

Not directly. But you have the exact behavior of the Kickvic people including being prosecuted for their tweets/messages/online activities.

I mean, it's a whole other order of magnitude. Ty found, what, 400 or so defaming tweets from La Choy, who has the high-score so far. That's nowhere near the magnitude of nigh-on 160,000 communications. Also, this chick has some serious mental issues: Walt Disney kidnapped her, and that was before all the UFO shit happened?

I'm just not seeing the connection (aside from the "sushi out of your liver" vs "I want vic's head and balls.")

On the up-side, Nick is super approachable. You can just send him stuff and he'll look at it. No need for an intermediary.

"They're going to say, 'You're not guilty and on top of it we, like, demand that you two get married,'" Ades said of the jury.

In the interview, she also claimed to have once been kidnapped by Walt Disney. The deceased illustrator, she said, once flew a spaceship and was a member of the Illuminati.

"Does that sound crazy?" Ades asked. "It sounds like I'm crazy. My mom says, 'They're going to put you back in Rule 11 court if you go around telling people.' But this is a true story — I'm not lying."
What an interesting character.

I don't have an email for him (and I'm off twitter). The thing that struck me about this case isn't the violence or the 150k number. It's her near verbatim with kickvic reasoning for how 'absurd' it is that people can be held accountable for their online behaviors. If she wasn't already in jail, I'd seriously think she was one of them.

I don't think I've seen this posted, so, here's the character Vic's supposed to be voicing in that furry game(or whatever the fuck they're doing) FantasySoft is making.

Still not as gay at Vic's con pants.

These are the same idiots that have filed ethics complaints against Nick. All dismissed.

The answer is their ass.

Social media is not real life.
That reminds me. Didn't Nick get a third complaint?

I do remeber Cristina tweeted not to long ago that she thought Vic's tearful BakAnime apology was just crocodile tears

And yeah. Of course crazy people think it's crazy that people know they're crazy. I still dunno what that helps the case any. But sure, send away. I ain't gonna stop ya.

Just a thought, but maybe we could get a google doc or something going that has all of this info in it?

Thing is, every time we get mentioned, more new people show up. Ty nor Nick has really shared the extent of our findings. When these people see just how much we have posted, they're likely to have some questions. Having all of this in one place not only gets the newbies caught up (without them having to scroll through over 1000 pages) but also keeps those of us more knowledgeable about this from having to repeatedly answer the same questions over and over again.

Again, just an idea that I thought might be helpful.
I myself had never heard of the farms until Nick's stream with Null as guest.

When I first brought it up in the thread earlier, I didn't think it was related, but then Nick tweeted at him about it and @Vampy had this to say about that particular image of the character.
If my weeb knowledge doesn't fail me that particular image is from episode 1 of the old FMA anime where Edward lectures a young, impressionable, girl about following a false prophet. Fitting.
So my belief quickly turned from doubting it was related and just coincidence to thinking it had to be intentional.

Hmmm? Interesting. A few of the “non nerd” political/social/cultural commentators are starting to pick up on the lawsuit.

I can only assume that the left wing yellow press will soon begin a “burn the white male” campaign of life ending defamation as usual?
Thats the guy who, I believe, first called Schemmel a beta on Twitter. Really got his pannies in a wad too. Supposedly Schemmel called him and they had a civil discussion and he said "well im ready to see what the court decides." Amazing Lucas was vocal early on in all this contriversy but then went pretty silent on the situation as other youtubers like Hero Hei and TUG ran with it full speed ahead.

I hope Nick is cool with some fan mail, I wanted to send him some, or do I need to use a different email if that's not appropriate to send it too.
