Phil's plan is fucked:

"In Connecticut, if the foreclosure sale price of your home is not enough to cover the balance of your mortgage, your lender can come after you for the "deficiency.""

Also.......

"One thing many people don't realize is that there is often a tax penalty that goes along with foreclosure. What happens is, if the house sells for less than the amount owed, the rest of the loan balance is considered "forgiven."

The IRS looks at this as income because it is something you would have had to paid but are getting out of. As a result, you may be taxed on the difference between the amount you owed and the amount the house sold for."

Edit:
A pyramid scheme according to Phil:
Someone sells you a product and then you have to sell it again to make a profit!
A pyramid scheme is just a underrated business practices and not illegal!

Can someone explain why Phil always thinks that the face is in someone's stomach?
because his brain is actually his stomach
you notice he loves to talk about what he eats?

New poll on Jon Cuck really ought to have had an option that's sort of between all three. He's very clearly there as an agent of chaos after the ban/timeout stampede and him getting Dave to put the frog and cheese emotes on the blacklist for a timeout, which have been chat's favorites during Swaggins Moratorium and Post-Swaggins eras.

Do ironic fans count as fans? I don't think they do (but I know many disagree), but he is clearly there for entertainment gained by fucking with chat. He's timing people out to get under their skin and make it look like he's doing something -- doesn't really ban people. Even during the 'situation that wasn't really a situation at all', Dave had to employ a few LIMB maneuvers to get rid of people JonC didn't have any issue with. It took like a half hour for some dude to finally get banned who was repeatedly asking Dave something about pedophilia and Panda while Jon was preoccupied with timing people out who mentioned frogs.

I struggle to contain my laughter over having had to type that last sentence.

He's not a deep cover troll, it's pretty obvious that he enjoys fucking with DSP purely by his name alone. He won't ban people because he just wants the chaos of timing people out and then them coming back into chat 10 minutes later to argue about why they were timed out and bitch to Dave about how his mods are out of control, and then Dave flails at his phantom YT audience while saying he doesn't understand what's going on and he's trying to concentrate on the game.

This is JonC's M.O. He's the new king of Shit Mountain and is taking liberties with his new found power to stir up shit in chat for the sake of his own amusement and to get a reaction out of Dave.

This was his exact "logic" (using that term VERY loosely) for why he didn't vote in the midterms.
It was his excuse for not doing it, in reality he just didn't want to go out side and risk getting jumped by one of the detractors hiding in the bushes outside!
Though i think he mainly didn't go vote because he's simply to lazy and rather prefer a policy that directly affects him rather than what was presented, mixed in with he don't understand politics!

Doesn't he write all his purchases off as work related or am I mistaken?

Yeah, but just because you write it off doesn't mean it's free. You get a portion of it back based on how much of it is used for business/entertainment, etc. That's why people who work from home can't write off 100% of their utility bills, because not all of it is used for the business, a portion is used for regular shit. And, again, just because you can write something off, that doesn't mean you get it all back. You can write off charity donations on your taxes, that doesn't mean that they're free and you get all that money back.

Hi. Is someone able to illuminate for me what the big secret was behind Phil's super-serious problem that he was cryptic in explaining during the vBlog announcement on 18 September 2017? In the video, he is greatly over-the-top dramatic about how there may be something major looming on the horizon that might cause him to lose his house. But infuriatingly, there's no clear direct follow-up video revealing what the big hoopla was about. After all that drama, you'd expect another video clearly titled that reveals the big secret. Is there such a video?

...
He became succesfull on YT mostly because of luck and EXTREAMLY HARD WORK, unlike other people who put out one 1 hour video a day, he put out 8 hours of videos!
He forgot that you couldn't upload that long videos when he started?
...
Big problem with his narrative being 30x10min/60= 5 hrs. Eight hours of gameplay calculates out to 48 videos. Now, I could be incorrect, but I don't remember him posting 48+/- 10 min videos everyday. Additionally, he has in the past said he played games for ~4-6 hours a day which fit in with his daily video uploading. This 'full-time work schedule' where he's putting in 10+hrs a day has only become part of his story in recent years where he needed to tell folks how hard he was working.

He had not paid state business taxes for 2014-2016 and had gotten notice that he owed them / was under investigation related to not paying. He freaked out and overexaggerated as he always does. He ended up owing (an estimated) $5000 or so in back state taxes. He held a fundraiser at Christmas that was ostensibly to get the money for that. Instead, as he admitted around Thanksgiving of 2018, he put the back state taxes on a credit card and presumably used the raised money to move Kat out in early 2018.

Shocking that DSP doesn't know how long it takes to plan, execute, and edit a professional video.

I'm sure ZeroLenny only took 20 minutes to shoot his Dark Souls Experience videos beating the entire game with a broken sword or a torch.

Ok that makes a lot more sense right now. The way he made it seem was that he was doing that to all of his taxes for the pass couple years, which he might just hand over everything he has to creditors at that point.
