I fucking hate this meme about the polls being wrong exceptional boomer/zoomer niggers keep on spouting.

The polls on a national level were pretty fucking good in 2016 (if you look at the aggregate). And most of the damn polls in the states were good too. The only ones that weren’t as good were in states like Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. Hell Florida polls were just about right despite how contentious it was.

Polls are really fucking good tools (as long as you look at the aggregate). The only fucking way you beat polls is if their model is bad. Which can definitely happen but it is exceedingly fucking rare.

You know what, I’ll throw you faggots a bone. Private polls are better than public ones, that’s how Trump got PA and Obama got Nevada. But even then, for the most part the public polls are pretty fucking good.

So if you’re going to latch on to anything, latch on to the slim possibility that UKIP has amazing fucking private polls that show them at either even with Tories/Brexit or significantly ahead so that even the fat exceptional individual can’t fuck it up.

The problem is, my point was originally adressed towards polls that were IN FACT wrong, especially cable TVs and polling firms, which by the way, do in fact have some power to change and swing some of the public's perception, let that be with polls or other methods. TV coverage was in fact very largely negative and studies have shown that, and so is negative the coverage of Sargon on this public forum. But you're underestimating someone with the likes of Sargon.



Then later on, you try to modify your stance by displaying someone like Nate Silver, who still hasn't acknowledge Trump was gonna win, but only made a statement that it's closer to 30 %.



My original point was, and it still remains, that regardless of kiwiusers' obvious stance on Sargon & elections, it will be proven wrong as big public platforms have proven to lie & get proven wrong. And that is the day I will laugh and make sure that my dominance is noticed.

I don't know, there is no reason to apologise to people you don't agree with. Tim makes good points that when you apologise, you're giving them validation.
He could take another tact and say that it was in context at the time, but isn't something he'd do in hindsight, but you never, ever apologise and back down to the liberal media.

The thing is, if he were truly politician material, he'd issue a non-apology

perfectly fine basic non-apology: "yeah, I did say that. I've certainly learned my lesson. Now, moving on to policy points..."

No admission of fault, guilt or regret, but it reads enough like an apology to just move on to anything else.
