Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

She would have joined Doxedex of @emspex that @damian created, but there is a lack of certain information that prevents that.
HINT:

[Just an example, not actually hers]

Very shrewd of her.
Though, I am surprised she did not receive one based on her involvement with Channel Awesome alone.

EDIT:
Special thanks to thewafflenerd on Twitter for this lovely tweet about a KickVic buffoon:
Completely unrealistic depiction, theirs no way she can afford a roof.

Regarding Nobunaga if your rice game is shit and you're Japanese yeah basically burn you to the ground. Rice isn't fucking hard.

There is actually not much evidence of the death toll surrounding mount Hiei battle if I remember correctly, modern digs haven't found the huge amount of ashes and human remains in the areas that would have civilians, mostly in the main temples that housed the monks. And the death toll found in history books is from Luis Frois, a christian missionary who may not have had the authority to investigate, it was around 1500 - 4000. For over 3000 temples (monks in those times were a very corrupt and powerfull organization) it does not sound as a very high number.

The biggest issue with defining if Nobunaga was as much of a monster as his reputation painted him as is that we don't know how much was him actually being a monster (the guy was kind of an ass, very stubborn and probably had a huge ego) and how much is propaganda from his politic rivals or from his own inflated image to use as a tool to further his agenda.

Shocked @MarzGurl lacks a dedicated thread, she seems like quite the autist

I never really looked much into her until recently, but I find her unbelievably stupid and naive. For someone to be one of the original CA members that wasn't a complete asshat, you'd think she'd maybe able to leverage some of her popularity to make some money, somehow. But she has to crowfund her bills, and doesn't want to lower herself to making vids on things shes tweeting about non-stop. And then gets mad other people are making money off things she is either too stupid or lazy to do.

Sometimes I think she is just one of those people that is so stupid, they literally believes everything people around her social circle say and every article say reads and that Nazis are trying to take over anime for realz or something. Despite every shred of proof that is discovered being against her, people have probably privately gone "zomg Marzgurl I was held down by Vic and his #Istandwithvic guys and my feminine penis was raped for 3 days straight please help us! Don't stop digging! Find the truth!" she'll take emotional appeals in tumblr and blog posts over evidence that can stand in a court of law.

Found Ron admitting to his lack of empathy and in addition mention of physical abuse + molestation he suffered as a kid. Was looking up his past mentions of "likes" to see if I could get him acknowledging the twitter change. This could help explain some of his behavior. I feel bad, but it's also hard to take anything he says as truthful.
Also:

Ron fancies himself a lawyer. :)

Proof of sub 80IQ

For a guy with 7.5k tweets, there is a lot of fun shit in there to go digging for.

Remember, don't just screenshot, archive.

I've been sitting here wondering "wait did I miss something? Isn't this the parody account?" for several minutes now.

I've been calling him soye in my head so much that I got it flipped, lol.

Dude brought up Nick being as trustworthy as Dave Meltzer...so to inform those not into wrestling:

Dave is the head producer and editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a publication around since 1983, and is also the current reporter for Sports Illustrated for MMA. His star rating is a thing that most wrestlers actually look forward to and brag about backstage. Hell, If Dave actually WATCHED your match is something us indie guys brag about backstage. Many YouTube wrestling commentary channels (WhatCulture, Cultaholic, etc.) source Meltzer for their news.

TL;DR: Saying that Nick is the Dave Meltzer of law advice is of the highest compliments.

He's so on point with his fashion. Like even in his early headshots hes just 😍😍😍

Perfect Canadian bacon.

Ugh if he was ever accused of harassment I'd legit cry my eyes out. Hes so harmless and nonthreatening but you just know somebody would come up with something
Don't know much about Kirby, but him talking about Schemmel at that con made me instantly respect him lol.

Also, when it comes to sjw's meetooing him I think this is unlikely. Maybe I'm wrong on this but they go after more popular people more often than not, right? Possibly in the hopes that their own fans will turn on them. Didn't work with Vic though. Does this theory make sense?

You guys better watch out, she might fundraise an attorney to come after you. She's been highly successful doing so in the past.

Don't say I didn't warn ya.

OOF. That's gotta suck. Why are their GFMs so unsuccessful ? I mean marchi's GFM took 2 months to reach 5k whilst vic's took 2 months to reach ~150k. People care about these sorts of things, it's been proven. What they don't like is people who try to pat themselves on the back and virtue signalling these issues. I've always said, if you want to make a difference in the world, you better be getting in the shit and actually helping people not sitting behind a keyboard and typing out a multi-thread tweet on why people should listen to you and do things without question

I know this was from a few pages back (was out doing stuff around town today and only just got home), but I just have to be amazed and point out just how pathetic these are. Two hundred bucks is a stupidly low goal for these kinds of things, and the fact that Marzgurl couldn't even manage to get ten people to give enough of a shit to throw twenty bucks at a good cause is just fucking pitiful. The single (one, uno, 1) person who threw five dollars to prevent LGBT suicide is honestly the most depressing thing I've seen today, way more so than the issue of LGBT suicide itself.

Most of them end at <10$. It’s just automated ebegging so the poster can feel self-righteous. Even the dumbest Facebook normies catch on to how dumb it is and stop caring after seeing a dozen in one day, especially when the poster doesn’t change the boilerplate.

It's really not that hard to understand.
The funding of a #kickback campaign is based on the model Comicsgate refined. The Genesis of which was Ethan Van Sciver (Comicartistpro Secrets) taking his old school 'puttin' on a show' telethon approach to crowd-funding comics and applying it to legal action against SJW's attempting to de-platform people.
EVS set up the gofundme for The Quatering (Jeremy Hambley), allowing him pursue an action after he was assaulted at a con and Van Sciver went on to successfully do likewise to fund Meyer V. Waid to the tune of 120k. It all spiraled out from there.
It turns out there's a lot of fanboys in their 30's and 40's with real jobs (unlike their SJW counterparts) and deep pockets and a deep desire to finally see real life consequences for the behaviour of the toxic SJW twitter mobs that have been running amok and wrecking their fan communities with seeming impunity.

Nick Reketa first blew up covering comicsgate, and comicsgate immediately saw the potential of combining fan communities under seige with the youtube legal community. Nick simply did what he had seen Comicsgate do so successfully.

In contrast, the SJWs model for fundraising is to half-heartedly e-beg on twitter and facebook and then get their shill allies in the mainstream media to write articles about them to hopefully draw attention to their funding efforts because they're too lazy and lacking in charisma to do the heavy lifting themselves.
There's a very different level of engagement between their passive panhandling and the #kickback approach of running a nightly three or four hour telethon to an audience of several thousand people that are actively engaged in real time with the funding campaign.

Folks raising legal funds to fight these sort of cases, like Count Dankula, tend to promise to donate any surplus funds to charity, as it reassures contributors that they're not simply lining their own pockets with donations.
Personally I think it would be a great idea, and the next logical progression in taking the culture war to the SJW's, to create a 'fuck these guys' legal defense fund out of the surplus left over from these individual funds to create an anti-SJW version of the ADL, managed by aligned Youtube Lawers to draw a line in the sand for these scumbags that they won't dare step over.
