He only made something like $30 off of that $100 dono. $60 for the game, and let's be generous and give him another tenner for sales tax and tax on the income minus whatever minute amount he gets to write off. So he lost 70% of the single largest amount he's gotten since his last "marathon", not counting wedding/family shit.
Don't forget the portion that would need to be set aside for federal (20-25%, probably?) and state (1.5%, so only $1.50). He made like $10 off the $100. But, of course, he also got ~$130 in cheers + subs + whatever he got in tips. And since the game was already paid for, that was all profit.
