Huh, well thats cool to see Ghostface, now makes me wonder what perks hed have. As dor the ragequitters, not shocked had those plenty and as said before they would take it an extra step to go to my steam profile and just spam insults. Its kinda cute in a way.
 
Last time I played DbD I got hooked by Pig as a survivor and somehow, while still alive, my in-game perspective changed to hers, as in I could follow the Pig around in the same way you expectate matches when you die as a survivor. This game is so fucking broken.

That's all the information about Ghostface that leaked. Personally, the power and one of the perks seems very underpowered.

This game is the reason why I have a private profile. I've played tons of multiplayer games and never needed to do that before. This is also the only game where I've ever received rage invites.

Like I said in the OP post, the community is absolute cancer.

So, it's like a mix of the Pig's sneaking ability combined with a reverse Michael Meyers ability. I mean it could work if you're trying to surprise attack the survivors, but in theory.

The problem is that there's so many pallets and windows for them that it doesn't matter too much. And if the survivor has Sprint Burst, a perk that has zero downsides I might add, they're guaranteed to get away. Plus the devs will do something to ensure survivors "have fun" just look what they did to Legion and Pig with the latest patch.
 
Ghostface seems pretty shit. I was hoping their power would be more creative and involve phone calls rather than being just a mix of two other killers.
Also Object of Obsession is a godlike perk. The only killers I die to now are Trappers and Freddies.

It's even more busted when used with a Survive With Friends group. Plus it just hard counters Trapper and Hag.

I wouldn't say it hard counters them as it's a bit tough to memorize every single trap location and they can always plop one down when you aren't looking, but God do I feel like this thing is underrated. Although its probably for the best that it remains obscure.

Nah, if a Survivor is paying attention then it really renders what Trapper and Hag do to be pointless. You just can't setup your shit. Because the guy with Object of Obsession will just run around, tea-bag and set off your traps and they can tell that you're setting up traps by just looking for them to bend down.
 
Came back to this game after a couple months of not playing to notice my main boy legion got fucking raped. I guess the survivors really did get what they wanted. It's fun seeing how drastically the reviews for him on steam changed, went from entitled survivors complaining about how they suck against him and now people complaining (rightfully so imo) that he's been nerfed way too hard and no fun to play anymore. If I get freddy'd one more fucking time I'm going to send an angry email with poor punctuation and grammar to behaviour I stg.

The only plus side to the nerfed Legion is that now they can utilize Haunted Ground and NOED. And when you close a hatch end game perks like NOED kick in, unfortunately that also applies to the survivor perk Adrenaline which is still a pretty bullshit perk. That's about it. The character got slaughtered and the funny thing is that survivor cunts still DC and are still complaining about Legion. As pretty much anyone with a brain (sans the developers) who actually plays the game would predict. I've been told the reason why they nerfed Legion was because of the surge in ragequitting. So instead of actually, finally, once and for all punish ragequitters they decided to nerf Legion instead. Because that makes sense to insane people.

Oh, and Borrowed Time got buffed again because the devs are faggots that want to reward autists who always mindlessly hook rush.

Mettle of Man took care of that, sadly. Unfortunately, even if you use a chainsaw killer Mettle of Man still kicks in and will save the cunts using that perk. Oh yeah, and the devs "fixed" Mettle of Man by making it so the Nurse's blinks no longer ignore the perk. The faggots still have yet to acknowledge how insanely busted Mettle of Man is. It's obviously a Pay 2 Win perk since they bundled it with Ash.

Just don't think about licensed DLC goy, all of our DLC is free since you can earn the points even if it does take more than 100 hours to earn the equivalent of half of a dlc for free. We're the good guy devs!

Nah, the excuse the autists use "The perk will be available in the Shrine so it's not Pay 2 Win! Shut up and be quiet!" Even though it could take up to 6 months or more for the perk to actually show up in the shrine. A lot of the absolute best perks very rarely appear in the shrine like say BBQ & Chili (exclusive to Leatherface and it's a very good perk because it gives you more blood points and has tracking abilities) which might appear in the shrine twice a year if that.
 
Change it so you don't lose your rank when you ragequit. You read that right. Before, if you ragequitted like a cunt you lost your rank or points towards your rank (these are called "pips"). But now you lose nothing except your offering and your add-ons.
The game since this change is genuinely unplayable killer-side. And I don't mean that hyperbolically, you literally cannot finish a match as a killer unless you're losing badly. You can play ten games in a row, and all the survivors will DC in early or mid-game as soon as you start to win every single time. It's a shame, because the game used to be pretty fun.

Again, anyone with a brain would just punish ragequitters and that would stop the bullshit. The dev's big excuse is that they can't do that for some reason because connections are Peer 2 Peer which is horseshit. If you bring this up on the forums or the game's Reddit some faggot appears and say's "My connection sometimes goes out why should I get punished!?" Then get better internet, faggot.

That, and it's really easy to tell the difference between the occasional genuine DC and a habitual pattern of Alt+f4ing the second you get downed. They wouldn't even have to work out which is which on the back end of everything, just have an ever-increasing timeout on requeues every subsequent time it happens. That way a genuine DC would just have something like a 30 second requeue cooldown, which isn't that bad at all, but when it happens the second time in a row it's now 2 minutes, then 5 minutes, then 10 minutes and so on and so forth. Ragequits would fucking disappear overnight.

Not to mention, if your internet is so shit that you're ruining the game for everyone else, you shouldn't be allowed to play either.

Why they refuse to punish ragequitters is debatable. They could be technically incompetent, which wouldn't be too surprising even though Behavior is the 2nd largest independent game dev in Canada. Or it could be more coddling survivors? They keep saying that once dedicated servers happen some time in the summer that they can do more about ragequitting. We'll see. I'm willing to bet the punishment for ragequitting will be very lenient.

Of course, they SHOULD be dedicating time to balance and QOL improvements as opposed to dedicated servers and more killers/survivors but this company isn't concerned with that. There's two recurring things when it comes to developers of slasher games: Greed and incompetence.

I'm done with giving them money at this point but I sadly have enough left over auric cells to buy one licensed killer. So I'll be waiting for Pinhead and that's going to be about it for me. If they still don't address the balance (nerf fucking Mettle of Man already) and add secondary objectives so killers aren't forced to use Ruin and also fix horrifically designed maps (so killers aren't required to use Bamboozle to counter bad map design) then there's no reason for me to keep playing.
