This is actually an answer. I believe in Texas you could literally submit a properly captioned document saying merely "I enter a general denial" and list every affirmative defense you know the name of and it would be more professional than this.

Making a tool set, a package of software and utilities that would help automate this shit could save countless thousands in the process of discovery. Creating and distributing such a package would be a righteous act.

If we were anywhere near close to PULL levels of anything, not only would we have ceased to discuss anything law-related with any deference or accuracy, we would have never thought to consider the possibility that Erick is in fact competent and potentially knew what he was doing in filing late.
I think KF is good... if only in the meantime. That said, I've always considered PULL to be a bizarro KF, though vastly inferior, if only when it comes to Weeb Wars.

In trying to catch up on the ProJared dumpster fire while still following the hilarity that is going on with Vic's case today, I can't help but consider just how similar, and just how different, the two cases are. Both involve accusations of misconduct. But in one case, there is actual clear evidence, and as a result the guy is utterly ruined... former fans are abandoning him, and not just a handful of fans; they're jumping ship by the hundreds of thousands. His YouTube subscriber count has dropped by a whopping 20%, in only about 5 days.
That is what they wanted to happen to Vic. That is what they expected to happen to Vic. They only failed to account for the fact that people would only pile on the band wagon en masse if they could show some actual evidence, and they didn't have any.

You don't understand. Those places aren't safe enough. An errant, opposing opinion might worm its way in for a minute, maybe even ten, before it gets caught. That's more then enough time to have their circuits fried, their very nature challenged, and leave them literally shaking and suffering from ptsd for the rest of their miserable lives.

Plot twist: she was referring to another kind of "head", but she couldn't be sexually continent for five seconds while she was demonstrating actual malice.
Also, can we go home, now? Erick just said for his clients that their words don't have any actual value because they were hyperbolic. They're trying to play off of technicalities that don't exist instead of trying to defend the truth of their statements. They're trying every possible thing including maintaining that the defamatory statements are true with no regard for the cohesion of their claims.
That nails it, doesn't it? Rial, Marchi, and Boy Toye are canonically full of garbage who are consistently trying to worm their way out of facing the music (whether it be through trying to play 4D chess, or whether it be by trying to dodge the process server harder than Bitterman owing child support), and it should be clear to everyone-- even the people at PULL. Speaking of which:
Hey, PULL: the people that would be in the know the most, who were aware of and probably participated in the investigation that supposedly was the direct and proximate cause of Vic's termination with Funimation, an investigation that supposedly uncovered legitimate evidence of Vic's supposed crimes?
They're running away. They're trying to play games. There's an actual chance that we're not even going to get the deposition that demonstrates that Vic was probably hardcore handholding with multiple female coworkers including Rial and Marchi at this point because we're speeding faster towards a default judgment at this point.
They don't have anything. You never had anything. You had rumors upon rumors, substantiated at best by Tumblr blogs that were more concerned with his continued employment with Funimation than they were about him supposedly molesting the underaged. Have you seen the Projared scandal? That's what evidence looks like. That's the kind of evidence that was demanded of you and the rest of the people who wanted Vic's head. And Heidi was able to freely give it, without anyone having to ask. Multiple other people were able to share their chat logs of the man engaging in predatory behavior.
They had more than unsworn accusations.
You're stale. Every time someone delivers from you guys to here, apart from seeing the same top dogs and newbies being cataloged by a more diverse group of people from here, I see you being morons at best as you fail to demonstrate a rudimentary grasp on law or clarity about this controversy. How in the hell is it that, 2-3 months since Rekieta's continued involvement in the controversy, you still think that he's Vic's lawyer, and nobody has sought to clear the record? How could you possibly think that unsworn witness testimony is somehow legitimate evidence? Why would you think that a plaintiff is responsible for proving his negation of defamatory statements, when in order to do so he'd effectively have to prove that he's never assaulted anyone ever? Your commentary on anything is some of the most insipid content I've ever had the displeasure of laying eyes on. You're probably older, and yet you all have the the wisdom and intrigue of a 10th grade basic girl.
I was expecting this controversy to have a stronger climax than this.
