Yes, sushi comes from Japan, but Americans have distorted it to horrifying degrees. Take hand rolls as a example.

In Japan they are small and bite sized, with a small number of ingredients to contrast flavors. You're supposed to appreciate the differences!:

This is the guy that completely fucks up simple Italian dishes by using the wrong types of pasta while talking up his cooking skills and his Italian heritage. On the Salmonella competency scale I'd give him half a point just for knowing that sushi is Japanese.

What I find really sad is that the sushi video is probably the closest I've seen Jack come to eating a normal, healthy meal. I'm not even trying to be funny here or being dim about the health benefits of globs of white rice and soy sauce.

Watching them mangle their sushi with forks and struggle with chopsticks is the whitest thing I've ever seen! Someone should tell Charles' wife to snap the chopsticks apart.

It is totally acceptable to eat sushi with your hands.

Imagine you go out for sushi, sit down, and get ready to eat.

In walks this bowling ball shaped motherfucker, his fetching bride, and the rest. They sit down and whip out a camera and start recording. They can't use chopsticks, they speak loudly about the menu, and basically be white trash. Your entire meal is ruined by Jack and he didn't even prepare it.

If nothing else, I'm kind of impressed that he took the viewer request and did this video. It is strange that he said he didn't know what a shopping haul video was considering he's basically done this exact kind of video at least once before.

And I hadn't realized he's degraded to the point of needing a mart cart. I mean he's fat, very fat, but not enough that I would expect to see someone of his size on one of them. Maybe he's just lazy and has no shame about showing it.
