Then 9/11 happened.

Suddenly the Chinese were all "Well, good thing we came to their rescue when they had engine trouble, right USA, old buddy old pal? Why, we've been putting your pilots up in 5-star hotels, we'd NEVER put American citizens in jail, USA, old buddy old pal old friend! Why, here's your plane back. We never looked inside of it! We're not sure how this magical flying machine even works, USA, good friend old pal! And your guys? Here they are, safe and sound. Good thing we were there to save them, right? The sudden change in narrative could have given you whiplash. During the first 8 years of the War on Terror China was really careful to keep shit lowkey, since they looked at Bush as a crazy person controlled by blood drinking plotters and the US military as this force ready to monkey-stomp anyone who got in the way, and since they knew that the US is REALLY good at killing slants, napalming gooks, and nuking nips, they figured low-key was the way to go before there were only a few hundred million screaming chinks.

One thing that the longer memory governments haven't forgotten (unlike Eurotrash faggots) is that America had already used nukes once, and we goddamn were ready too after 9/11 if that's what it took. I think China is incrdibly patient and thick-skinned. They have no problem having a million die just to gain another inch. Remember in Yugoslavia, when the US bombed the Chinese embassy. The Chinese gave zero fucks. Not all affronts require a response. The only thing is achieving victory, and China has no problem with losses along the way.

I can't remember who said it. I'm thinking either Robert Anton Wilson or Timothy Leary, but maybe they were just quoting. Basically, religions (and cults, such as the intersectionalist left) are MORE immune to change the more irrational they become. If there is a rational structure, them they can be made to see reason, but without it, there is no way to communicate. The more absurd the belief, the more strongly it is held, and the more resistant to change.

It is easier to change the opinion of someone who believes the sacrament is a figurative body of Christ, rather than someone who believes they are actually eating the body of Christ, for example.

If there's one place the black Trump vote is primed to go up is in those places. If you're a brother that now works in a car factory in Michigan, a paper mill in Wisconsin or a steel mill in Pennsylvania because of Trump's policies, you gotta love him right now. I think they understand they wouldn't be in any better position now than compared to the day before the 2016 election had Hillary won. And if the nominee is Biden, Trump gets to go, 'He's part of the administration that was in charge when you weren't doing so hot. Do you really want to go back to that?
