He took a break from the only social media that he has any followers on, right as he started trying to ‘promo the heck out of’ his stalkers anthem. Hmmmmmmmm
I actually though he was hiding from us here after he had to find the link for the DMCA takedown notice. The timing of his reappearance proves me wrong though. 30 days ban huh? He’s gonna lose his account the next time he harasses a woman who knows where the report button is.

The first thing he did upon returning to Facebook was delete a quasi-controversial post that he made regarding a food processing plant employee that was killed after falling into a meat grinder. News agencies published these articles on April 23 and April 24; Russ went silent very shortly thereafter. If he “took a break,” why would he wait to remove what many might consider to be an insensitive post?

A fantastic video from @TheGreatCitracett, made my whole week. It used a bunch of assets I had completely forgotten about, like Kayli's fan art and the 8-bit Owl Freeman. Definitely a hilariously fun timeline of some of the greatest stuff Russ has either danced, written, or inspired. Thanks!
I like to think those two listeners from Taiwan found out about him through the Taiwanese "Magical Star Buddy" article, and are now following him in their own little kiwi-esque circle all the way across the globe.

I reckon the couple of Taiwanese listeners were people he paid for reviews on Fiverr. Probably explains a couple of the other listeners too.
Why would we go to Russ's soundcloud, when we can go to youtube and listen to the song with @TheGreatCitracett's awesome video to go along with it? Everyone knows songs need a decent video to really get cross-platform appeal. Russ fails at something obvious (this time pr) once again.

Russell is just like every self-published (or, worse, published by scammers such as PublishAmerica/AmericaStar) author I've ever dealt with.
They don't understand how the publishing industry works, and how books get from the author's manuscript to printed and bound copies on bookstore shelves. They also don't understand how promoting a book so it stands a snowball's chance of actually selling works.
But their ignorance doesn't stop them, so they decide to self-publish their books (or use a scam publisher), and do all their own promotion. They'll start a blog! They'll create a Facebook page for themselves! They'll post a promotional video on YouTube! They'll have bookmarks printed, and slip them inside books that actually made it onto bookstore shelves! They'll get their local bookstore to carry their book (actually, they won't, because no store wants to stock a book that won't sell)! They'll pay for reviews on Amazon and GoodReads!
Russell has no fucking clue how the music industry works. He doesn't know how songwriters get started in their careers. He doesn't know how artists get paired up with new songs. He doesn't know how those songs, once recorded, get promoted, get airplay, and get out there in front of their intended audience.
But he's not going to let his utter ignorance stop him. And so, as with would-be authors of bad books who decide to self-publish and promote their own books, there are plenty of individuals and companies who are more than happy to take Russell's money for services that are effectively useless, but allow him, in his ignorance, to believe he's actually done something that will raise his song's profile and get it heard by influential people--or at least create a grassroots "buzz" among listeners that will catch the attention of music biz insiders.
And of course none of these pay-for-play strategies ever work; they're dead fucking useless. But at least, in this case, rather than suffer the hair-pulling frustration of clueless authors who insist upon self-publishing their shitty books, I can relax and laugh at Russell's idiocy.

He better be careful where he spams it-like that song-writing group. They don’t seem to friendly to him. He probably won’t even pay for a boosted post on Facebook. (Not that it will help). He doesn’t even understand hashtags.

Yeah I'm also curious why he got banned, and why he took down the meat grinder post. I'm surprised he did, as God knows how many posts hes made about a woman being killed.
I wonder how frustrated he was during the ban. A break away from Facebook could have made him realize he didnt need it, and that was addicted and wasting his life away on it, but nope he comes right back on promoting his song, pretending like nothing happened and claiming his break was his decision. God bless that man
