Somebody in Nick's chat was saying it was getting flagged again, no idea how correct that is though. I think the sequence was HH 'won' i.e. ANN didn't respond in time, then a few days go by and HH took it down due to the flagging rumors, ANN tries to dunk on him.

Nick suggested he should reupload to another channel and make ANN fight it. That way he could continue to livestrteam on his main channel.

I don't really disagree with this.

I put won in quotes because it was less of an outright win and more of a moral victory as ANN didn't back up their threat, i know there was discussion on this point earlier in the thread. I also don't really pay attention to anybody else in WW apart from Nick as he has all the info and some CG guys, but that's more so for the CG thread.

If Rooster Teeth wanted to clear themselves of possible malice, couldn't they invite Vic to an event, even if they don't want him voicing Qrow (sp?) anymore?

It's a compromise. It achieves an end for both parties. They can "fire" him, and still invite him back for signing functions. Also, that they'd consider it, I know, but: how many fans are dangerhairs vs shitlords? And how many of each spend a lot of money on RT? Am I giving them too much credit?

It would be suspicious, more than anything. RT simply fired Vic. Publicly, sure, but they didn't put out a defamatory tweet like Funimation did. In at-will Texas, they're free to fire Vic whenever, for whatever. Randomly inviting him to a con after very publicly booting him is going to raise some eyebrows, and you don't want lawyers to be looking at you funny when papers are being sent around. They might start digging and turning up things that might not be so lawful. It's all or nothing. Either completely separate from Vic, or invite him back and and say you had fired him over unproven allegations and you're happy to be working with him again.

Granted, this is all with public information. Who knows what can come up in discovery. MoRon wants everything public, after all.

Reminder, Casey Erick's "answer" implicates Roosterteeth in being also in on this, they are in the firing range after that filing happened.

It is a stalemate. If anything, it favors HH, but he is also a bobblehead too invested in profiting off of super chats to completely win. If he wasnt too invested, he could keep baiting ANN into an unecessary lawsuit they will never win because Nick has already laid out the blueprint for success which ANN has no answer to. They have neither the power or money to do so, it shows in their response. Their public response shows how much focus, time, and energy they invested after a failed dox attempt, considering how aware they are with HH's response to defend their brand. This could actually be good for Vic in later rounds.

Disney files frivilous copyright claims because they have enough power and money drive somebody into the ground. ANN doesn't have that luxury, especially in a suit with equal footing, considering that Nick was a legal representative for HH.

This is also good news because ANN has shown their hand at how they want to play the game, while providing us with the lawls. The longer they stay invested in this shit show, the more we get to see if they are willing to bluff or not.

ANN always think they are in the right about everything, but they're actually wrong. They don't want people criticizing them because they want people to accept their bullshit and have them take it like it's food they made. They only welcome the SJWs instead of the people that are criticizing them.
