What I got from tonight's stream was all of this:

1. For all the defense that the defendants and their allies are trying to muster, they have nothing.
2. Ty has a hell of a lot more stuff that he's holding onto, and he's just itching to set it free at the most precise moment.
3. The Todd Haberkorn case is likely going to ramp up here very soon, since Jessie the Cosplay Whore decided to sperg out.
4. The case against Toye and Rial is much stronger than originally thought, and trying to bring in the "SuperLawyer cabal" was a last gasp attempt to muddy the waters.
5. Hell is going to explode tomorrow.

Enjoy it, Farmers. You got a lot of lolz to harvest coming up soon.

Damn, I thought Nick was gonna venture off into one of his classic solo rants. But he sighed and went towards chat's. DAMIT MAN WE WANT FROTHING SPITTLE AND ANGER!!!!

What all will happen tomorrow? I was distracted and didn't keep up very well, apparently.

I...do not understand these two lawyers. It's not that they disagree with Nick and Ty which is absolutely fine but why in the hell would you spit at their faces and disrespect them? There's nothing to gain. Seriously, that Greg guy should have just come on and talked to these guys and at least tried to leave an impression he was a competent lawyer. I mean Ty even joked he and Casey would become fast friends over lawyers like this. The more important thing is Nick has a network of lawyers he knows and that's how this whole case became possible. Why you intentionally want to spit in the face of this guy instead of being in good relations beats me. Seriously, he could be a clown but if he stayed professional and not a coward he could get more clients but I suppose there's those kind of people in every crowd. I'm also like Ty and don't see how Vic could lose this at all.

The sad part about all of this is that I thought these were two people pretending to be lawyers. Like I just couldn't believe people like this as lawyers existed so I can see why Ty was pissed off. Years of experience let you handle a lot of things but exceptionalism at that level is not one of them.

I call it "Collegiate Stupidity" just because you have a degree doesn't make you smart. I mean in my 20 years of Aircraft Maintenance you realize how many times I have seen this write up "System X does not work in O-F-F position". They thought about it, wrote it down in the aircraft forms and had it read out loud in front of us and still doubled down and said the system was broken. I am just kind of glad the stupid wasn't contained just in the military.

Edit: I think @ShortRound can confirm this.

I think something people need to keep in mind about Ty (and the major difference between Ty and other people talking about this case) is this:
Ty is living this. It's what he's doing most of the time, day-in, day-out: reading this defamatory shit and trying to explain (in writing) why it's defamation, and how it's damaged Vic. That's his job.
When other people of his own profession (who aren't being paid to hold contrary opinions) can't see reality it's probably infuriating, especially when they're pretending to know his own State's local laws better than his firm does. It's the combination of exceptionalism and disrespect that set Ty off I think.

So I understand his rage, alcohol or not. Nick's just trying to get these guys on the show, or he'd be doing the same thing.

Another pragmatic point to keep in mind is that Ty is apparently the partner at BHBH who brings in a lot of the clients; his reputation matters a great deal as a named partner but even more so as money bringer for the firm. I think he was getting a little Mad at the Intern™ and suspect Nick didn't rant after Ty left because Ty was already mad. Don't forget that Ty probably doesn't read the farms, he's 10x more boomer than Nick and although very smart, there's a culture gap between him and the autism of the farms. I hope to see more of Ty but also hope he doesn't halal himself into a boomer meme.

I really don’t see Ty going too far gone. He probably thinks of this site as a sleuthing forum that takes on what people ask instead of a place that just looks at things because of general interest and hilarity around it.

Don't forget he's a wargamer, the autism runs strong in him as well. I don't predict halal, just was surprised to see his butthurt. It's very explainable as part of his professional face- angry lawyers are a normal part of the process for "vigorously defending your clients", but hopefully it doesn't go beyond that.

He pretty much told us what was going on in a roundabout way, with that story about how he joined MENSA. He's easy to rile up if you hit the right buttons; one of his buttons is his professional reputation.

Based on what we've seen of him, though, I don't think he'll sperg out after the initial angry rant, but rather he'll channel his frustration into his actions in the case, in order to guarantee a decisive victory and demonstrate that his reputation has a solid foundation. I also suspect we'll see him convince Vic to pursue a more aggressive litigation strategy.

Never underestimate the universe brained individuals that are super lawyers :drink:

And there's the demand for retraction, which means she's getting sued and that exemplary damages will be sought.
Yes, those are literally the two exact demand letters that Texas law requires before suing someone for defamation: Preservation of Evidence, and Retraction.

That does explain why Shame thought the letters that MoRon showed him were nothing more than some toothless C & D letters. If all of the defendants saw "Cease and Desist" and they just assumed that to be the case... HOW EMBARRASSING FOR THEM!
Actually, the condition would normally be covered... he doesn't HAVE insurance.

Not verified as current, but he lives in an apartment through two sources. Ya know....the mark of a good lawyer.

Apparently the Super lawyer doesn't have health insurance and needs help to fund a cpap or similar machine.

Hmm. Let's go to the Fact Zone.

"Average price for CPAP machine ranges from about $500 – $3000, with an estimated average price around $850."

Super Lawyer certification:

It cost $20,000 for law firms to appear in a one-page “platinum profile” that congratulated their lawyers for making the list of Super Lawyers. But some lawyers and ethics bodies are questioning the expenditure.

One lawyer told Portfolio.com he finds it “a tad embarrassing” to be designated a Super Lawyer. “I don’t know why anyone would spend their money to get their picture or firm in there,” said Mark Edelstein, chair of Morrison & Foerster’s real estate financing practice. “It makes you feel like you are selling toilet paper or something.”

I don't believe the "Rising Star" thing costs money but actually using the certification in ads does. He should have saved his money and not being able to breathe and get oxygen to his brain might be why he's saying these dumb things.

2. Ty has a hell of a lot more stuff that he's holding onto, and he's just itching to set it free at the most precise moment.

He's giving MoRon a chance to be honest and actually turn over what they have and not try to cheat.

Ha ha, just kidding, he's waiting for those two idiots to completely fuck up and assume he doesn't have something that they plan on committing perjury about.

So basically, instead of buying a machine that he needs to live, he essentially bought an employee of the month section on a webpage?

He had a GoFundMe for it. He collected over $9,000. Not bad for something that on average costs $850.

He says he got it so he isn't likely to keel over dead any time soon and deprive us of more hot takes.

Holy cow this guy can't even buy something that nick can afford in maybe 1 night's worth of super chats?

He looks fat, most people with any form of sleep apnea are fat and could cure it by losing weight. Those for whom losing weight will not help will show signs of it their whole lives rather than sudden onset. Don't just "tweak your diet" you fatfuck, LOSE WEIGHT you lazy piece of shit.

"Death abatement" is a retarded name for his fundraiser. The wires in the picture he shared don't even look real, sleep tests typically require watching your actual brain waves and so you'll have electrodes glued to your head. There has to be a physiological measure proving that you're actually asleep. If you have heart problems, it's first because you're fat, "death abatement" is being a dramatic bitch at that score. Learn how to manage your life better, it's pathetic to be a practicing lawyer with a second job and still beg for fatass gimmies on the internet. Pathetic.
