Just because she said she ran out of money and admitted to giving up on Twitter, doesn't mean the game still isn't coming out!
That's what gets me. The last guy wants to cut her some slack but says even he's concerned about the lack of response from Zoe, but they got one. She essentially said 'Nah, the money's gone, I'm not putting more effort in, I'm too poor to finish it.' Anyone pushing the issue just got blocked and added to her infinite list of 'harassers'.
The Tingle game was a scam - though I think like most of her scams she has the idea and an intent to follow through on Day 1, but as soon as there's no fun involved she just takes the money and moves on. I have a personal theory that it's the main reason she sabotaged that game jam TV show, because it would involve work - and not only that, work she was actually unable to do.
But slowly, too slowly but still, more and more backers are realising it. She'll just always have defenders, people who'll deny what's staring them in the face, people who'll even forgive her for taking their money and offer her more, because that's the price of being an ally apparently. GamerGate was easily the best thing that could have ever happened to her, which she clearly knows despite claiming she's tired of talking about it. Otherwise she wouldn't jump in whenever someone dares to make an assessment of it without consulting her first.
And really there's no more fitting emblem of the whole debacle than that she is the fetid emblem of the anti-GamerGaters. Well, that, and a male feminist being revealed to be a molester of some kind.
