Fuck those people, they were at best peripheral acquaintances that wont accept people unless they huff their own farts. The people that are truly close to you will look past politics and debatable issues.

They were my closest friends, not acquaintances. I met most of them in college and we all stayed very close well into our adult lives. I've babysat their kids, helped them move into new homes, gone to movies, celebrated new jobs, given toasts at weddings, all the things a big circle of good friends would typically do. They stood by me through some very dark times in my life, even when we disagreed on sometimes very basic things.

It just completely blindsided me how thoroughly TDS changed them and led them to unperson me when I didn't join in the post-election freak-out. I closed my Facebook account about a year ago. Not one of them has bothered to email me or otherwise look me up since. Not even the ones who stayed quiet while the rest blasted me for being a nazi.

You're right, of course. Fuck 'em. It still fucking sucks, though.

A state of affairs that in no way differs from today. It simply means her life will never change. And all indicators are that was going to be the case anyway. The only thing in her life that a judgement would likely impact would be when her father passes away, it would snatch what it could from the estate. Assuming there is anything. Waiting for a defendant’s parent to die, in the hopes that might be an avenue of collection is more or less a bad return on investment.

New guy here. I've actually been following the weeb war stuff ever since it came out in February by complete random chance. After I came upon Nick's streams there was no way in hell I was going back. I was down this rabbit hole for good. I only came upon the farms a few days ago though, and I'm just reveling in how this developed to a bunch of dudes wondering what the hell happened with Vic Mignona to being at the forefront in helping him stay in his job, stay happy and possibly even sane and alive. People weren't joking when this was like an anime. It's a fucking character development arc with more twists and turns than most people could ever dream of. It's fantastic.

That said, with the whole DDoS attack and possible crap heading for kiwifarms ways, I just gotta ask how many backups the archive logs have? Does anyone else have access? Don't give that shit to me, I'm just making sure.

Yet another example of a well credentialed moron. For purposes of this case Nick is a Journalist! He has an established media publication and branding, and a reasonably broad category of reported materials. He passes every judicial test for membership in the Fourth Estate. Only an idiot or a lunatic would take a run at a reporters communications regarding a fairly trivial civil matter. The client can’t afford it, and it costs Nick virtually nothing to defend against aggressively. And no Texas State Judge is going to be enthusiastic about poking that hornets nest and ending up as a test case over something this stupid. Any subpoena to Nick will be either completely quashed, or very very narrowly tailored. And even then Nick will fight it tooth and nail. Whywouldn’t He? It costs him virtually nothing. Costs Vic and BHBH absolutely nothing, and imposes another $10-20k minimum on the subpoena issuing defendant. It’s grandstanding idiocy from Cohen. Further proving that “Super Lawyer” is just a euphemism for “Short Bus Riding Lawyer”. “Super Lawyers! We Hire the Handicapped!”

She is not, however, injunction-proof. Being sued is one thing. Being explicitly ordered by a court to "shut the fuck up about this under penalty of law" is another.

She has repeatedly demonstrated that she believes herself to be above the law and fully justified in running her mouth. Ergo, no matter how much "legal trouble" it's invited on others by acting on her words, she feels untouchable and has absolutely no reason to stop. In fact, the legal trouble probably encourages her to get louder because in her mind "people are being silenced, so I must get the truth out there!"

Suing her will make her scream "oh my god they're oppressive me halp!" But a court order telling her to shut her hole will scare her into compliance, either immediately (as it should) or after the court spanks her once or twice for ignoring the order. I don't know the specifics in Texas, but "contempt of court" is generally a bitch no matter what state you're in. It's also probably not too hard to take a winning case, complete with injunction, to a court in her jurisdiction to ask for help enforcing it. Spending a weekend in jail (with a standing invitation for more if she can't be quiet) might cool her jets a bit.

But once again, how much are you willing to spend to drop said injunction on some Z list ex Channel Autism nobody who’s pathetically minimal relevance ended around 2011? Yes stomping on Marzgurl would be fun and cathartic, but it fails every possible costs/benefits examination unless you have “fuck you money” levels of personal wealth and feel like hunting “the Most Dangerous Game” as a hobby. I've made new friends since then anyway who seem to be of better character who are less willing to let politics get in the way of a good time. It's never too late to find new friends.

That depends entirely on how much more damage she tries to do. Do you honestly believe she'll stop trying to harm Vic even after this case is over and done with (in his favor)? Even if the defendants lose completely, end up owing millions, have to issue retractions and all catch social media bans for their trouble?

There's a very real possibility that even in the face of a commanding victory on Vic's side in this case, his career will continue to suffer because this insipid broad can't shut her whore mouth or learn from the examples set by others as they get spanked in court. Hell, I wouldn't put it past her to keep going anyway even if she was slapped with a permanent injunction. She's stupid enough to do it. But at least there's actionable penalties in that situation.

I don't want to sound like we're a bunch of saints and there haven't been people who take this shit too far to the point that they will go out in public to show off their power levels, but you never hear about how the KiwiFarms helped send Nick the Pedo to jail or help bring that Zoosadist who was hiding out in Cuba raping puppies with baseball bats (I think it was SnakeThing) to justice.

Marchi has specifically accused him of assaulting her, although the description isn't of an assault, as has Monica. Ron Toye has not said he's just heard these things, but that he knows them to be a fact.

So for instance if I said I saw someone in a Kiwi Farms thread saying that Dunford is a pederast, that would be true, and unless I went above and beyond that and unreasonably and maliciously asserted its truth, I wouldn't be in much danger of liability over it. If, however, based on just having seen such a baseless allegation, I then spent months posting hundreds of times a day about him being a pederast, inventing elaborate and extravagant exaggerations and details of this, to the point someone had to deliver a defamation mitigation act request hundreds of pages of long to me, and had adopted it as a factual statement of my own, that would be actionable, and that is what Soye did.

Nowhere has Soye said any of this is opinion or just something he heard. He's vouched repeatedly for its truth as a fact and that he knows it to be true personally.

Anyone who read more than the "piece of shit funny ha-ha" shit would know that.

I saw someone mention how much he tweets and he responded with the exact number of tweets over the course of 5 days, then divided that number by the total number of hours in 5 days, claiming that he was only tweeting like 12 times per hour, obviously and intentionally ignoring the fact that nobody is awake for 24hrs/day. The dude tweets, on average, something closer to once every 3 minutes every waking hour of his day, on average. It's honestly kind of sad. Imagine living a life that's so unfulfilling that you spend such a large portion of your life absolutely glued to twitter.

I guess being a "Super Lawyer" doesn't pay the bills much, does it? He can't afford a machine to keep his body from minecrafting itself while he sleeps without help and he mustn't have that much to do at the office if he can afford to spend hours puttering about on Twitter. Shit, I'm a blue-collar commoner and I have less time in my day for tweets than this so-called "super lawyer" does.

Soyny has been on a censorship spree after relocating PlayStation HQ to the right wing stronghold of California. If the ESRB demanded that change, it would've been reflected across all platforms. After the backlash, the PS4 version was then patched to undo the editing. So that was just shit he made up. Literally zero basis in reality. Still got a few thousand ass pats, though.

In another tweet in that chain, he claims the ESRB was concocted by right-wing politicians. In reality, it was Democrats Joseph Lieberman and Herb Kohl, with the idea endorsed by Hillary Clinton.

Do I put too much thought in what I write or something because I'd basically take like half an hour to do that many if not the hour. I'm not slow but I like struggle with the 200 letter cap (great for learning how to make a point in few words though). 12 Tweets per hour is ridiculous and not something I'd be proud.

-learn2code
-write a book
-play a video game (probably an RPG if you have a lot of time)
-read the Bible (some of you people actually need it)
-learn to knit stuff
-take up graphic designs or drawing
-jog 2-5 miles a day
-clean your goddamn apartment/house
-learn to play an instrument
-convert to Beardism
-learn how to cook new dishes
-stare at Kiomei's very distracting avy
-learn to laugh and stop taking this whole thing so seriously

I mean the political insults the SJWs throw go over my head half the time such as the alt-right (literally thought it just meant you were a republican...which it pretty much does at this point to them) and the whole misgendering.
