Phil couldn’t be bothered to drive a couple of wood screws into a window sill in order to hang a set of blinds. He paid someone to do it for him. There’s no way he would crawl under his Corolla to drain the oil and replace his filter. As far as the used oil, what do you think he would do with it after he’s done? I’ll tell you: he’d dump it in the toilet.

King County Metro runs like 800-900 bus lines around the entire Seattle region and almost all of the buses that run on their network are new. The oldest come from the 90s. Hell, the system is one of the largest in the country and the grand majority of the buses that run are electric or a hybrid. The city also operates trains that run direct into Seattle regularly, too - I think even terminating in Phil's town - and express buses that make less stops to run faster. He's completely bullshitting, but it's not like he'd be using the car anyway.

I lived there for a while. I usually rode the bus to work. It was fine, except when Seattle was paralyzed by three inches of snow.

Besides, if he doesn't drive much, Uber could take care of him (if available).

Phil's day off is on thursday when everyone else is working so the only people he runs into during his grueling expeditions are old people and Moms herding their brood through the frozen food isle. And he never goes more than 4 miles from his house. Within a 4 mile bubble he has walmart, costco, ikea, southcenter mall, taco bell, best buy, 2 Burger Kings, 5 McDonalds, 2 Pizza Huts, 2 Clinics, 1 Kinda Hospital. 2 Fred Meyers, with a third fred meyer if you extend it to 5 miles. So it's not really that hard to believe no one sees him out and about you'd pretty much have to be trying to run into him now. With PandaLee I think he used to take Sunday off to do stuff and that's when the confirmed sightings happened at the mall.

According to posts on this thread from 6 years ago, Phil will be done soon.

Others think he will be done if his YouTube monthly views drop below 1 000 000.

Some say if pandalee leaves he will disappear in a depression.

If Machinma drops him, Phil will be over.

The masturbation ruined him, the end is near.

If Phil's patreon drops below 1 000 he will be done.

His Twitch suspension will destroy him.

His permanent adsense ban will end up being his ruin.

...they don't call him the Pigroach for nothing.

it seems to have been decided by the fates a long time ago that phils fate will be slow and agonizing to himself and everyone else

personally i'm excited to see how low he'll go

Machinima dropping Phil was the 1st significant strike. That solidly removed him from $200k+/year 'rich' status where he could do whatever he wanted.

Twitch/Whatever the main streaming site is dropping Phil would be the 2nd strike. I'd guess that would remove him from the $100k upper middle class he's at now to roughly working class. This will also mean Phil will be forced to put in effort along with his shameless begging.

The 3rd strike will be when Phil finally, sadly, begrudgingly can't survive on e-begging and has to get a real job. He will then fade from the internet, we'll stop caring, and he'll die under a bridge drinking gin.
