Honestly, he handled the $1000-tip dilemma the absolute worst way possible, and you can poke a hole through every little statement he gave in regards to that situation.
A factual number is meant to be a "detractor meme" now? Like come on, the dude isn't even trying to cover his ass at this point. He's just a boomer trapped in his own web of lies that he spun himself.

It's not a boss perse, just a hidden fight. To be fair though, that boss has no ingame explanation and does require either a guide or stumbling through to victory by pure chance.

It's for this reason I'd love to get a detailed look into Fort Gout. I can't imagine what sort of bullshit he's got in that house now that we've never seen. How many other times has he cried wolf just to get.people to pay for his plans, and how many things has he not revealed?

I mean, I'm sure it's just a bunch of tot anyway. Imagine the wedding he could've had if he didn't blow so much money on bullshit. With one month's take he could've reserved an event hall easily. Gotten a DJ and handled the food with maybe another month, month and a half? Not saying that every person should splash out half a year's salary for getting married, but it's not something that you do every day. Why not go all out? That way all your friends and family can have fun--oh.

Not trying to rank on you here but how smart does one have to be in order to fleece a crowd of antisocial and mentally/physically debilitated misfits? DSP isn't running a one-time horse betting sting and booking it out of town with Paul Newman here.. he's sitting on a crusty couch shamelessly debasing himself for infinite handouts 317 days a year (minus additional fake illness holidays) and getting away with it because the key thread that links all breeds of paypig and troll tipper together is simply: they don't value themselves, their time or their money enough to believe they have anything better to do on this earth than sit and pay Phil Burnell to make an embarrassing spectacle of himself - something that he'd willingly serve up gratis with or without the money. Even if he wasn't being paid to do it what's he going to do get himself an actual job? He'd just squeal harder and louder for longer and hold his own streams hostage until they started dropping dollars into his gullet. Nothing is going to get him off that couch.

Whales don't appreciate the value of a dollar, the mentally vacant majority can't comprehend it and DSP is a finger sniffing frankenstein abomination combo of the two.

Lying for the right kind of person is a skill that they can develop into an artform. DSP is not a good liar nor a good conman.. he can't even sell the illusion that he likes playing videogames for money. If anything I personally overestimate him all the fucking time. Every single time I think he can't sink any lower or sound any fucking dumber he proves me wrong.

Yeah, but his targets of manipulation are legit people in wheel chairs and young idiots. You’re talking about a man who thought the internet loved him again after two tweets joining in with everyone else shitting on some guy, you’re talking about a man who constantly lies about information that is easily confirmed in videos on the internet.

Darks not some master manipulator, he’s an average beggar who pulls at the heartstrings of people who literally can’t think critically. The only thing detractors underestimate is how far he’s willing to take a lie and the how greedy he truly is

No one's gonna hire Phil for any on-screen work. A terrible-sounding voice, an obnoxious laugh, and his tics (snorting, swaying front to back and vice-versa) will see to it. He also doesn't have any deep insights to share. For all the time he spent playing fighting games, for example, he has shallow commentary when he plays, just blaming netcode for his failures instead of providing useful insight like should've done move X instead of Y because [game mechanics reasons]. He's neither entertaining (in a non-detractor sense) nor informative. Who would want to hire him?

This isn't me being a-loggy. I believe the same is true for a lot of current e-sports players and other streamers who would want to branch out down the line.

It's an optional difficult boss. If he thinks its dumb, he can just... not fight the boss. He's probably gonna do it though because DSP is mad stubborn and he thinks showing off his epic gamer skills gives him man points. If the whole reactions to TIHYDP didn't give it away, DSP takes mockery against his shitty gaming abiltiy VERY seriously.

EDIT: Got curious and googled what you get if you beat him, just some ordinary boss XP, some big gold but he exploited the game so he's filthy rich anyways, and an item that you get later in the game anyways. OH and there's another opportunity to fight him when you're a higher level anyways, when theres no timer too.

DSP told another person that he's co-oping Borderlands with tomorrow to set up his character in advance so he can be ready, but DSP can't be bothered to do it himself ahead of time.

Has anyone ever done a detractor meme gaslighting? Like picking a random word or phrase and seeing if you can trick Phil into thinking its a detractor meme and getting it blacklisted?

Phil had the oppurtunity to be wayyyyy bigger than he actually is. That stupid ass "average gamer" schtick could have actually worked if he had hid his retardation and actually worked on his channel. Look at people like Boogie. Same shit as Phil: retarded, fat, bad at games, terrible personality. He managed to hide all this shit to coast his way to 4.5 million subs. Things like jumping to direct capture too late, refusing to do edited videos, abandoning Project 7, etc were huge mistakes that he was too retarded to see. In another life, Phil probably has 3M+ subs but that would have required effort and not being a piece of shit to everyone.

Oh, no doubt. Phil actually had first-mover advantage in the YouTube gamer space, and this is highlighted by the lore about PDP once being a DSP fan back in the day. I'm more referring to how no one would hire Phil to be a caster or reviewer. He could've made it big on his own in another timeline, sure. In a sense, he already made it big earnings-wise, it's just that he's terrible at managing money so he's compelled to slog through video games he doesn't enjoy while begging mentally-challenged manchildren. Sure, it's not the millions that PDP or Ninja have, but his yearly earnings are still certainly beyond the median income of the average American.
