TBH, I missed out on Shane, Shane Strikes Back, and only briefly was able to see The Return of Shane. So I'm looking forward to The Phantom Shane, Shane Wars, The Revenge of Shane, etc.

This court is not being friendly to delaying tactics. The last discovery squabble got a hearing the very next week, with depositions scheduled soon afterwards. This is going to get a hearing as early as next week, and that's assuming they don't get a tongue-lashing from the judge in person during their own depositions, as well as any of their dilatory bullshit at the deposition itself getting smacked down instantly right there and then.
All they're doing is wasting their money.

I can't believe there are already 255 pages in a thread about Shane. I mean what is there to really talk about? He's an insignificant loser who really has nothing to do with the actual Vic trial in the bigger scheme of things. Even Ronald is more relevant to the trial than he is.

I was wondering how he was going to spin the newest details involving MoRon, seems like even he knew it wasn't spinnable and has instead decided to just reeeeeeee as loudly as he can. Funny thing is him constantly saying inflammatory things about Nick is the worst thing he can do, it'll cost Nick pennies on the dollar to fuck him up in a court room to "restore my good name and reputation that Mr. Holmberg has repeatedly attacked online".

It's always fun to dunk on a cow that comes to the site.
I'm of two minds on the insignificant part and hear me out. It's easy to call him insignificant as he is an idiot with awful takes, so poor that he eats shoes, looks like a goblinoid, and Nick / Ty have written him off repeatedly. Yet it's also common tactical knowledge to never interrupt your opponent while they are making mistakes... and Shane is a huge mistake (in all ways) and constantly shoots the group in the foot (probably so he has more food to eat).
Shane is being fed info by at least 2 of the defendants, helps verify evidence and telegraphs the defendants every move, he runs 4 cons (read 1 pathetic con), may have been in contact with (at least) Kameha con, has been involved in secret discords with relevant parties and their gay ops, has been repeatedly defaming Vic and more that i can't think of right now. @AnOminous has talked about the conspiracy charge currently being weak, due to the claim of everybody being Funimation agents. Now IANAL but maybe you could throw a Shane in there and baby now you got a stew going.
At least part of me thinks Shane only hasn't gotten a letter because it's more currently more useful to let him roam free in his idiocy. Again i know Ty has said he has written him off, but he certainly fits with the idea that codename Igor is too stupid to realize that he is Igor.

I remember during GG, SOP was for the Antis that when one of them publicly embarassed themselves (which they were wont to do), they'd proceed to pretend it never happened and block anyone who discussed it. And these were some of the most successful grifters on the tubernets at the time. They've since gone bankrupt, but at the time, they were able to get spots talking to the UN and demanding the Internet be censored for letting people call them out for being lying sacks of shit.
What I'm getting at is that the ideological speds behind GG opposition at least had the self-awareness to recognize bad optics.
Shane, meanwhile, has just continued forwards since his fucking verbal sodomy at the hands of Nick Rekieta. There is no way in hell you can even try to spin Shane's disastrous appearance on his show as anything other than a complete and total loss for Shane's side. No one views him as anything other than a total laughingstock, and yet miraculously, he keeps doubling down, and it's especially surreal to watch because he never fucking wins. He'll show up, get absolutely destroyed and ridiculed, drop too much information that gets him even more ridiculed and strongly suggests that the shit he spews about Vic is predominantly projection, and yet no matter how hard he gets glazed, he's back on his feet (and Twitter) loudly proclaiming his imminent victory.
I hope to god Shane donates his brain to science after he dies. He cannot possibly be wired like the rest of us.
