I'm definitely on the side of saying that Linkara is an arrogant little shit, but I'm far more amused in his ongoing struggle to prove to himself that this is a job. How does one have a "Pay My Taxtheth" emergency stream and not immediately come to the conclusion that this whole internet star thing ain't workin'?

And people would be fooling themselves if they think that isn't happening again next year.

As far as I know Linkara didn't go crazy and buy a giant house the moment he started making near-6 figures a year, unlike idiots DSP and Spoony; all his videos seem to take place in the same eggshell colored apartment.

Looking back, Linkara was at the ground floor of a fad. He was one of the OGs if TGWTG.com in a new corner of the Internet. It was basically the Wild Wild West back then, and when those first checks came in, I wouldn’t be surprised if he looked at those and thought, “hey, I could live off of this”.

I like old radio dramas and tried listening to this out of interest and it is beyond painful. Linkara clearly doesn’t know how to write for an audio medium and listening to a bunch of people smugly talk about horror films and make pop culture references for like 10 minutes is not entertaining in the slightest. I can’t believe they actually scripted this because it sounds like a bunch of people doing a normal podcast.

It was said to be done in the spirit of the Channel Awesome anniversary specials, and in the series itself there are apparently a decent amount of shots fired at CA. And on his platforms, Linkara put himself over and took a flamethrower to Doug Walker.

At most, they sound like an intentionally annoying caricature you'd hear on a comedic radio show, not a serious radio drama.

Linkara, like the rest of TGWG thinks that parodies should just be nonstop winking to the camera, rampant lampshade hanging and extremely stupid subverting expectations. It's almost like they're trying to do a Mike Meyers movie with every role played by Mike Meyers.

He might just be thinking of those infamous 4chan greentext stories about shooting the anniversary horseshit. That and Amazing Athiest calling him a "fuddy duddy dipshit" or something along those lines earned Linkara a reputation for being stuck up his own ass, though I think I remember Brad saying all of the greentext shit was fake, and anything AA says needs to be taken with a grain of bananas and hot oil.

The Greentext is funny but there's no reason to believe they're true. While I don't doubt Lewis has shoved things up his own ass, I doubt a comic book was one of those things.

Let's just say there may or may not have been a livestream recently and I may or may not have been one of the two guys on it.

He has a history of being smug and condescending, and things like the Power Rangers rant, the Adblock Rant, and hell, his latest attitude in the twitter rant about how his movie was so much better is so well-documented, I dont' think I even need to dip into the personal experiences to prove it.

The Greentext is funny but there's no reason to believe they're true. While I don't doubt Lewis has shoved things up his own ass, I doubt a comic book was one of those things.

Didn't Lewis say the "hmmm" story 'could have' happened when questioned on a live stream, but later walked back that statement? Besides the fact, the HMM story matches an incident I witnessed, and the 'New York' story fits with how I've seen him talk to new people. Also, Iron Liz's only objection to the comic book story is Lewis 'doesn't drink'.

I don't like Kaylin at all, but I find this whole situation veeeeeery interesting because it's starting to confirm what I've long suspected about Brad, which is that he lies, as you said, to cover for his friends.

I'm waiting for the other foot to fall. Has Linkara said anything about Brad yet? I think he eventually has to because he's an ally.

Edit: Brad actually left Twitter after his former co-contributors turned against him. Hmm, that's a bold strategy, Cotton.

Take anything Armzgurl says with a silo of salt. She has a history of lying to make her opponents look bad even when the lie makes absolutely no sense. So even if she's telling the truth, she'd have no ground to stand on given her own recent activities.

They lied about upside down cross, but then used it as ammo in CTC, Holly brown knew about Justin's sexual deviance for years, but covered it up, even letting Kaitlyn share a hotel room with him 6 months after the fact. Holly even let lordkat get accused of Justin's crimes, to the point that lupa kept openly calling lordkat 'the rapist' until he threatened legal action. Hell, when Justin was outed as the rapist, the collective was more mad that michaud outed Justin than anything else, including the fact that lordkat was treated as a sacrificial lamb.

It's a a lot of fence straddling and bullshitting. I read his contributions to the CTC document with the asformentioned complaints I outlined.

It also reads like a prepared press release. Here he talks about 'standing on Giants', but a week ago on Twitter he talked about how he was so much better at directing than Doug ever was.

The Lewis who gets to prepare his statements is a different guy than the Lewis who speaks quickly and let his true character slip.
