I suspect that they've looked for evidence to verify her claims, but since they didn't ask for clarification on the record in deposition, my guess is that they don't particularly care one way or the other about her alleged previous rape. They want to stay focused on the facts of this case and not divert the proceedings into an examination of whether Monica has ever been a victim of sexual abuse at the hands of other individuals.

Having said that, watch me be complete BTFO'd when they produce a Discord chat transcript showing her and Marchi concocting the teenage rape victim angle. Who the hell knows with these people.

i mean jealousy was always one of the reason for most of the industry turning on him. They made that pretty obvious when his name started dissapearing from several of his works.

I think it could come across as badgering and hostile. If they can prove their case without piling on, it might just be better to avoid the optics.

That's the other thing: if you cannot bring evidence of the incident, and are actually legally forbidden from doing so, would the incident still be allowed? You either can open the door, or you can't. No cracking it open just a little bit, just for you.
