Sockness is the latest NPC that Chris is letting inside, so he most likely has some plan to sacrifice Chris to Satan to make the Sonic totem come alive.

Chris does have a habit of ignoring real people for toadies who will feed into his delusions.

There are people who probably do want to legitimately help Chris. Wanting no efame or to be in Christory. Be a good friend to him and an ear to listen to his problems. Offer sage advice.

They’re shitty friends. Can you imagine if you had a tiff with a friend and your first response is to bemoan it on social media? That’s not friendship.

S&S want something. They likely know there’s no true fandom they can get rich off of. There’s no true fandom that’ll get them anywhere in life except threads like ours. So what do they get? I’m assuming it’s something on a sickly personal level. I know certain people irl who would do anything to help out someone they think is in dire need of help. They're good people and I admire their determination to help.

Sarah and Steve (even this $200 medallion guy) I think are like those people, I guess y'all call them "white knights". Constantly defending him but admitting Chris does need help. They've been very open about that. Are they deluded? Sure, it's a lost cause with Chris, but I won't insult them for trying.

Sockness on the other hand is just, not right. Those tweets show he's manipulative, his obsession transcends anything we've seen so far in Christory and for once I am genuinely concerned about Chris's safety.

See like i’m 50% onboard with what you’re saying. On one hand I do think Sarah and Steve and other paypigs of their ilk have benign intentions even if they don’t actually help Chris and might make it worse, but at the same time I am not sure about their genuineness. Like these people will huck money at Chris at the drop of a hat. I don’t know about you but that doesn’t sound like a real relationship, it’s almost to me more like a gold digger situation. Chris has these folks convinced (probably mostly by accident I highly doubt he is this shrewd) that in order to remain in his good graces they must supply him with cash and stuff, but when their bank accounts empty he’s tossing them out with the trash.

I’m sure some people on this forum are starting to glean by now that I don’t get mad at Chris a lot and I don’t hold a lot of things against him, but something that consistently irks me about Chris is that he only wants to be “friends” with people who give him shit or who feed into his delusions, making it really easy for con artists like the Idea Guys or straight up loons like Sockness to waltz right on in and have free reign to sculpt his mind in their image.

The pattern that I've seen with Chris nowadays is that you have to just as autistic and childish as he is to get him to lower his guard. You can't be fake about it because he'll sniff you right out. That's how the ideaguys 1.0 and 2.0 got in Chris's head. This is also why Sockness got in good with Chris while S&S failed.
