Getting something popular as an artist really isn't that difficult, just post stuff in communities you like, and you'll gain fans in that community. To optimize your struggle, post onto the social media platform you wanna use, and if it's something like Reddit, post at around noon so when people are off work and Reddit is peak traffic, your post has had 6-8 hours of time to get upvotes so it's at it's highest point on the page so you can max the amount of eyes on your work.

Make YouTube videos once a week of a speed art of whatever your most recent piece is. Make videos around how to draw, and what programs and equipment you use.


Will you become famous and a millionaire? Probably not but if you just want to make about $40,000 a year from home through a hobby, it's not difficult, just work.
 
Saw some speculation about the medication and just wanted to add: if you drink heavily every single day on anti depressants, they absolutely stop working. I don't know if Mumkey quit them after his dick broke or continued after his gf left, but even if he is theyre basically doing nothing for him in this state.
